"And that's what happened." Y/n ended her explanation on how and why she owns a successful restaurant. Faruzan nods in understanding while having her arms crossed.

"She's a genius! Right, madam Faruzan? Not only did she invent different kinds of food, she also invented a new kind of restaurant management in one go! I can't stress enough how brilliant her mind is. Thanks to her I've paid a majority of my debts." Kaveh enthusiastically praised as  Y/n looked at her unamused as she had learned that Kaveh was recently scammed again and is still living with Alhaitham.

"Y/n, be honest with me. Are you the one who donated funds for my research? Don't lie to me, youngster." Faruzan asked as she looked Y/n in the eyes.

Y/n sighed and nodded as she pouted like a child. Faruzan did her research on her mysterious donor and found nothing but a faint clue that led to Y/n. She had always thought of Y/n as a humble living person as she was doing multiple jobs at once.

"Why are you looking away?" Faruzan asked.

"What if you're mad at me for hiding my identity?" Y/n asked while tapping her index fingers together.

Faruzan chuckled and reached out to ruffle Y/n's hair and pinched her nose.

"How can I be mad? If anything, I should be thankful. No, I AM thankful. I just can't believe that one of my students and friends would be my benefactor." Faruzan says with a gentle smile.

Y/n also smiled, stood up, and gave her a hug. Kaveh couldn't help but smile upon their interaction as he watched them embrace one another. Suddenly he was pulled along and the three of them had a group hug with Y/n at the center.

Y/n couldn't help but feel like they were family. Faruzan was a mother figure to her when she arrived at Sumeru and Kaveh felt like a brother to her as well although she never had a sibling, she still knew how it felt to have one as she stayed at an orphanage once.

After their hug, they looked at one another and began to laugh heartily. As they sat down and enjoyed their meal together, the night seemed to pass by so quickly that the next thing they knew, it was time for them to part ways again.
