A/N
- I told you I'd be working on it :3
- I apologise but I completely forgot that this story was meant to be in past tense and ended up writing in present tense. Just forgive me for this chapter and I will go back to past tense again in the next chapter. I'm just getting into the flow of writing
- My biggest motivator for writing up the chapters is the nice sounding keyboard that I just bought and I cannot seem to get over.
- Unfortunately, still very much Aiden-heavy but our other favourite people are coming back next chapter so stay tuned
- Still don't have a beta and therefore, still not proofread unfortunately.

POV: Aiden
Dear lord. I hate it here.
Why am I here?
Oh yeah. It's because I'm being blackmailed and nothing in my life is apparently going right.
That's why.
Here is the current situation.
I am currently with my wretched family – the entire family – alongside the one and only future in-laws and my future wife. I've got to say, my oldest brother works fast. It had only been about a week or so since he announced that I would need to get married or my gramps is going to be shot point blank.
It is hands down the most awkward experience in my life and that's coming from someone who's been in a position where someone else tried to initiate a handshake after you just washed your hands. Seriously, there's like a few awkward seconds of quickly drying your hands on your pants or even worse, deciding to shake their hands anyway and them hating you for the rest of your life.
Anyway, here I am at the mansion of the Liams, sitting at their grand dining table with their grand food and their grand staff and everything is just insanely grand ok? You can tell that they have money to spare and they are not afraid to use it. I think you can slowly see why my brothers (minus one) are pushing for this marriage so much.
On one side of the table are the Trophs – my biological father being closest to the end of the table, followed by his wife, Marcel, Bradley, me and then Alex – and on the other side are the Liams which just composed of Greg Liam, Clara Liam and my wife-to-be Casandra Liam.
It's been roughly an hour since we arrived and so far, me and Casandra have not spoken a word outside of polite greetings and introductions. Most of the talking was being done between Greg, Marcel, my "father" and Bradley. I think they somehow already set the date for the marriage and it is a lot earlier than I expected so yay! We're pushing for my doomed fate earlier.
In all honesty, I'm kind of surprised that Greg went through with this arrangement at all. From my research and deep dive into their background, they are actually quite sweet and one of the few normal, sane rich people around. They know how to run a business, how use their money, how to be charitable and more importantly, they aren't some sort of broken family or have any shady side hustles. They shower their only daughter with all the love, care, affection and money. So she is definitely spoiled but shockingly, that never got to her head and she's quite humble and genuine. She's a family girl that's smart (graduated with some sort of Masters), all her friends love her for who she is and not just her money and just shows no discrimination against anyone regarding their race, class or status. She's also involved in like 4 different charities and genuinely pushes for better. Plus she's very pretty with perfect almond-shaped brown eyes, straight, healthy hair, and a small dimple that shows up her left cheek whenever she smiles.
