Felix pov

The sun seemed to have been hidden by many dark clouds, a storm ready to burst out any second.
"Ahhh how I love hot rainy days" I rolled my eyes, trying to get my focus back to the teacher infront of me.
I really wanted to just leave her class and spend more time with y/n and jisung, but at least I had sungea with me.
"You lost again" she grinned from ear to ear pointing at the row she had won, a game we created ourselves with skittles (the best example to describe just how boring that class is)
"Not fairrr! I wasn't even paying attention" I pouted at her, eating the skittles piled out on the table.
"Ya think I care? Anyways you took so damn long I took notes for the both of us" she handed me my notebook (don't ask how she got it I dont even know) and smiled proudly. There was everything written that we needed to know, but she also scribbled many many cats on the edge of the paper.
"Did I space out that long that you had time to take notes for both of us, doodle a ton of silly looking cats AND win the game? "
"For your information, you stared out of the window for 49 minutes while occasionally placing your skittle on the board" she snickered at me, putting a few skittles in her mouth totally obvious.
I rolled my eyes and begged for time to tick faster.
"But like, why does it always rain so randomly- I wore my favorite top today and I didn't even pack an umbrella" sungea let her head fall onto my shoulder and I patted her head, empathizing with her verbally.
"Oh- right-" I sat higher in my chair turning to look at her completely.
"Do you know if y/n has a partner?"
"What" sungea looked at me as if I told her I broke her favorite sketch from her sketchbook
"Y/n. Since I first saw them I couldn't take my eyes off of them, I really want to ask them out"
"Oh- uhm" she fidgeted with her pencil, avoiding eye contact. I looked at her expectationaly.
"I didn't know you didn't know already, yea they do. They're together with jisung"
"What? "
"Shhhh" she shushed me looking embarrassed at the student in front of us.
"Yeah, they've been going out since idk half a year"
"Oh" I looked away from her disappointed. Of course they were taken, how could they not be? I felt utterly stupid thinking I had a chance with them. I raised my hand and excused myself to the bathroom. I couldn't handle pretending to be happy right now.

Sungeas pov

I watched him leave the classroom to go to the toilet. Of course I knew he didn't have to. He was hurt because he had a crush on y/n.
I hit my head multiple times on the table, feeling stupid for liking someone like him. After all, he was way out of my reach...
6 minutes have passed and I got bored waiting for Felix to return so I just continued doodling on my sketchbook, when suddenly I received a text from lee know.

I quietly packed my bag and rushed out when the teacher didn't look. It's not like we have to stay, it's voluntary. But good impressions and stuff ykyk.
I arrived home, only to see Lee know already sitting on my stairs with an umbrella covering him.
"Wow! You're drenched" he laughed out
"Did you really forget to take an umbrella with you today? " he asked, holding it out to me.
"Ugh, just shut up and let me open the door."
"Im so glad y'all got a roof terrace. Your blankets would've been wetter than your hair" he joked, holding a strand of my hair in front of my eyes.
"I wish there wasn't one, so I could've pushed you into it" I smiled back sarcastically while opening the back door.
"Oh, did you invite the others? "
"Well, only y/n. I think Felix needs some privacy right now and y/n said jisung was meeting up with some chan dude"
I shrugged my arms, opening the trampoline.
"You still got the snacks we had to pull out of there yesterday?"
"Ya think I devour 5 packs of chips and gummy bears in one night? It's a shame we couldn't have one yesterday tho. Then, everyone would've made it" I said while walking towards the mini shelf right next to the trampoline.
"Gurl I love your house. Everything is modern, even outside" he held his arms high up while looking at our garden.
"It's hard to keep it clean tho, be happy with what you have ist-" I got cut off by the doorbell announcing y/ns arrival.
"Y/nnn" Lee know jump-walked towards the door like a 6 year old after his parents have been shopping for too long.
"I brought onigiris y'all! " they showed the bag proudly, placing it next to the other snacks on the bench.
"I'm glad you made it, I swear I couldn't stay longer alone with this donkey " I hugged them, before inviting all inside of the trampoline.
"Gosh, it's such a vibe to be outside while it rains" I mumbled between eating my onigiri.
"And Felix really couldn't make it? It would've been so much fun with him around" y/n spoke into the conversation, looking actually pitiful.
"Yea, I think if he wanted to he could, but I think he needs some time for himself right now" I tried explaining to them, the easiest way I could.
"What happened? "
"Oh, uh-" lee know looked at me with a 'don't you dare confess for him right now' as he already knew cause I was utterly bad at keeping my mouth shut.
"His mom is in the hospital" lee know said quickly, side eyeing me.
"Oh no, I hope it's nothing too bad"
I felt bad for y/n to be lied to.
But honestly, it wasn't right to tell them Felix had a secret crush on them after he's been literally rejected by me for y/n.
We watched a few movies and did some karaoke on omegle till y/n eventually had to go use the restroom.
"Hey, mind telling me why you look so down"
"Huh- what do you mean? " I looked at him in confusion, was I actually that obvious?
"Don't act dumb, I know somethings up"
"Uhm... Well" was I really about to say this? I meant to keep it hidden...
"I've been crushing on Felix ever since I met him" god. That blurted out without me even noticing and I quickly shut my mouth with my hand. Lee know looked just as shocked as me, before pulling me into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry" he whisper- spoke into my ear, his soft voice echoing through my mind.
"Oh- don't worry it's all good, really! " I waved my hands in front of his face and laughed it off. Don't cry now sungea....
"It's just a crush so, im pretty sure I can get over him soon"
He looked at me with so much pity in his eyes, I knew he didn't buy any of my words but before he could say anything else, y/n came back.
"What did I misss- oh my what's going on here" they looked at us confused as to why we suddenly moved closer and lee know still didn't take his pityful eyes off of me.
"Oh- nothing I just told him how hard the last test was and we played rock paper scissors" I chuckled and we continued enjoying our evening until we all got tired.
I turned over to look at the rain outside, splashing onto the fountain. It felt comforting. Who knew, maybe Felix just wasn't meant to be my partner.
