Tim's POV:

My breath comes out strangles as I run through the palace halls. I hear fighting behind me getting closer meaning that Y/N got out numbered real quick. I'm not that surprised by it just because it's the league of shadows but she's a kryptonian. 

A strangled cry sounds throughout the entire building making my blood run cold. Y/n's voice was the one who let out the cry. The loud noises around me only make me wonder more - how is this child still sleeping? 

I look down at the sleeping child in my arms. Jet black hair & blue eyes. How do I know his eye color? Well this child is an exact clone of Kon before he died. I nor Y/n could bear the pain of never seeing Kon again & he agreed to making a clone. Sooo we did. The only issue is that we had to do this in a lab, specially a lab in the league of shadows base. 

Was it a terrible idea to come in first place & expect everything to go right? Yes, yes it was. 

Do I care? No but now I kinda do after hearing that scream.

I contemplate on whether I should go back or not but a oh so familiar voice rings throughout my comm. 

"Heyy little bro! Don't worry, we found Y/n just in time. She's safe for now, but where are you?" Dick says, his voice cheery as ever.

"I don't know how far I am now. I'm just finding my way out with this kid before they - ah I jinxed it. Who's closest to my location & how fast can they get to me?" I ask, watching the shadows that surround me.

"Um Jason is the closest one to ya but he's pretty occupied at the moment. Bats is close ish but he's surrounded completely. Everyone else hasn't made it that far into the building yet," Dick explained, clearly struggling with something as his voice became ragged. 

"Okay well I only ask that you protect Y/n, Dick. But can you tell everyone to come to either you or me as fast as they can? I can't exactly hold my own against so many shadows with a child in my arms," I state, dodging multiple attacks already. 

Dick makes a sound of confirmation before turning off his comm, most likely to communicate with the rest of the bats. I began to put all my focus into the battle but also keep my eye on the child in my arm. From what I can see, he's only gotten to be an infant by now. After this he should be ageing normally. That's if we all make it out alive. Last time we came here we lost Dick to those psychotic birds, but we were lucky enough to get him back well & alive.

"Tim? Where are you at? I'm coming to you," Jason calls through the comm.

 I go to respond but get cut off by an arm swinging forward for an uppercut. I expertly dodge in time & shield the child from any further attacks that come right after. Kicks, punches, slices, they all come at once. My breathing becomes erratic as I escape narrowly with the child still sleeping. Weird, they must love naps like Kon. I shake my head to get rid of those thoughts before I find myself at in a new crowd of shadows. 

As I take a closer look I find Y/n, Dick & Jason fighting them all off like a real team. They just need one look before knowing what the other needs. Just like how our trio used to work. The supes & the bird. 

I begin to walk backwards slowly before any of the henchmen noticed me but I end up bumping into someone. I turn around only to find the one person I never wanted to see again. Ra's al ghul. I jump back immediately before watching his moves like a hawk. My eyes then betray me as I realize I need an escape plan. When I find a tunnel I begin to go down it because I'm running out of time to get this child somewhere safe. 

As I make my way through this hallway type tunnel a knife embeds itself into my calf causing a shout to escape from my mouth. I limp my way to the closest room before tumbling down to the floor in pain. It must've been laced with some kind of poison since knife's like these never hurt as much as this. I barely pull myself into a sitting position with the child cradled in my arms, as close to me as possible. 

Good news is that were both alive but the bad thing is that he's awake now. His bright blue eyes stare at me with pure confusion & curiosity before they begin to explore the room. I let a small smile grace my lips as I watch the child look around in amazement. But that smile soon fades once I see a shadow. Not the henchmen, but an actual shadow of the devil himself. It doesn't surprise me that he found me but I was hoping it wouldn't be this soon.

"Hand over the child Drake. This little game of yours is over," Ra's says, before taking a step forward into the room. 

"Over my dead body would I hand over this child to you," I spat out, glaring at him the best I could with my injuries. 

He takes another step towards me, causing my arms to wrap around the child even more. I pull my knees up to shield the child from any possible oncoming attacks. Once again he takes another step making me curl my body around the child only to feel no such attack but instead hear a loud crash & bang.

I lift my head ever so slowly to see a raging Y/n hovering over Ra's crumpled body. As my eyes begin to look around I begin to notice where the bang came from. A certain brothers gun. I roll my eyes, 'so now he decides to show up'.

"Stay away from my boyfriend & nephew you old crusty corpse," Y/n spat, a deadly gaze watching the dead body as if expecting it to come back to life.

"Um - N/n, I'm pretty sure you guys killed him for good. Oh! See? He's turning into ashes," I say, my voice hoarse.

"Good. That crusty old man deserved ever bit of it. Especially when he went after my boyfriend & nephew!" Y/n exclaimed, shaking her fist in the air before settling on the ground. 

Her light footsteps lead her over to me where she bends down to see the child's bright blue eyes already staring at her. A soft smile curls her lips up before she picks up the small figure. Sensing that the child was comfortable with her, she smiled even more before fully embracing him in a hug. 

"I got you kiddo, & I'm not going anywhere anytime soon," She whispers, her gaze softening even more at the sight of the child snuggling into her. 

"Well as cute as this little moment is, we need to get going before more shadows come or the psycho duo appears," Jason says, resting a hand on his hip. 

We both nod as we exit the room & back out into the hallway like tunnel. Though with some difficulty, Jason manages to help me walk out even with his own injuries. Y/n leads the way as she uses her x-ray vision to find a way to the others as well as out of here. 

Once we all meet up with the group, we decide it's better to find a way out before introducing the newest addition.Using her x-ray vision once again our whole group was able to find a staircase that lead out. 

Fresh air begins to slowly breeze through as we all clamber out of the dusty staircase. Everyone than begins to celebrate as we all had successfully made it out of there all alive just in time. The cheers began to get louder as Alfred had arrived with the bat-jet to take everyone home. 

As soon as were all situated we begin to fly off back to Gotham City. Shooing my thoughts away, I glance down at the child in Y/n's arms, as he sleeps yet again. I sigh in relief as I realize I kept my promise to Kon. I kept the child safe. 

'I got you'
