Later that's night, or should I say early morning, I woke up to a sharp pain in my lower stomach.

"Tristan?" I wake him up. "Baby?"

"Yeah? What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asks

"I think they are coming." I whisper

"What? Really?" He asks, excitedly.

"Yeah." I smile and then breath deeply when a contraction hits. "You wait here, I'll go wake my mom up."

"Okay. I'll make sure everything is packed." He says and gets up.

"Mom?" I shake her awake. "Mom?" She still doesn't wake up. "Mommy?"

"Tori? Hon? What are you doing? Are you okay?" She asks, half asleep.

"They're coming." I whisper

"What?"

"The babies are coming." I repeat

"I heard you the first time. No way. It's actually happening?"

"Yeah. It is." I smile in relief.

"Oh, baby. You are going to be a mommy soon." Mom gets up and hugs me.

"I know." I say with a small smile.

"Have you woken Tristan up?" Mom questions

"Yeah. He is making sure everything is packed." I state

"Okay, how far apart are your contractions?" Mom asks

"We haven't started timing them yet." I admit

"Okay. Tell me when your next one is and I'll time it." Mom says as we head downstairs.

"Okay, right now." I stop of the stairs as a sharp pain fills my lower abdomen. I grab onto the wall so I don't fall.

"You okay hon?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a bit sore." I admit

"I know, it will be." Mom rubs my back. "Come, lay down on the sofa. Try get as much sleep as possible. I'll be right here and so will Tristan."

"Thanks mom." I say and try go back to sleep.

Surprisingly, I did. I got another hours sleep, before I woke up to pain again.

"Hey." Tristan whispers as he sees me wake up. "We need to see how far apart your contractions are, okay? So tell me when your next one ends.

We measure how far apart they were and it was still 15 minutes apart. It was going to be a long day, or even couple of days.

"Are you nervous?" Tristan asks me as we cuddle on the sofa.

"A bit. I mean, I'm scared and worried. What about if I'm not a good mom? What if they don't get on well with me?" I worry

"Calm down. They will. Okay? And you will be the greatest mom. I know you will." He kisses my head.

"You'll be the best dad." I tell him the truth.

"I hope so."

"I'm going to go get my sweat shirt from the garage." I state as I get up.

"No, no. I'll go get it." Tristan says

"No. I'll get it. My legs will go numb otherwise. I haven't walked in hours."

I walk slowly to the garage and then on the way back I stop in the kitchen as I feel a liquid running down my legs.

"Mom? Tristan?" I panic as I look down to a puddle.

"Well, hon, I think it's safe to say that you're water just broke." Mom tells me and smiles.
