Chapter 26

On the sight of my little brother and little sister at the table can I really get used to. Seeing them sitting there, alive, melt my heart. Maybe they both don't know it but since they're loose we've never had a breakfast together again. Surprisingly it was Valentino' idea. Yesterday evening I heard a knock at my door. I was confused why somebody knocks at this time. Because of that I was even more surprised when I saw Valentino. 

Every brother processed the happenings on his own way. Georgio and Damon got anger issues, Niccolo was so young and opened up that he talked to us, asked for help, Silvio was quite different but after some time also search for help by me. To say at last, Alessandro, Leonardo and I could help all of my brother with speaking and comforting - except of Valentino. 

I would say that it hit him the hardest. It lasted whole 2 month until he even showed up down again. But the worst loose was not the loose of his sight in this 2 month, it was his voice. Since the kidnapping doesn't speak to us apart from when it is necessary. Every brother including Alessandro know it and is not forcing him to speak. The verbal - answer - rule – besides I hate the name for it because it shouldn't be a rule. It's just for us a help to be sure the one opposite of myself understand me. – fall away for him. 

He never came to speak about his feelings, his experience about it. So as I saw him there standing, I was more than surprised but also very happy and glad that he came to me. At the end we speak about 30 minutes which was probably the longest speak I heard from him in years. 

He talked to me about his observations of the Nes. This was the moment I realized how special he is. He's so strong and has so good senses like the observation. He noticed things I would have never but everything made sense and it really helped me to understand the Nes a bit better. 

And at the end he asked me wether we could have the breakfasts together again. It touched my heart and he's right. If we want to go back, where we stopped, and continue from there, we need to start by the breakfast and dinner. 

And here we are. Sitting together at one table. The tense is noticeable but that doesn't stop any of us to be happy to have them here. Even Georgio and Damon. Probably Lia and Lio don't notice it and think we are assholes. At least this would explain their behavior. 

In the last day I already learned so much about them. 

Neliono seemed to be Lia' supporter or the leader of them two but that would be definitely not the word they would use for it and somehow I have the feeling that Lia is the stronger one of them. The little hand taps to prevent Lia from trouble or the comfort he gives her when she is probably upset, didn't go unnoticed by me. He is also the one who is more talking to us. Also here probably to prevent Neliana to cause trouble. She seems to follow it often. 

Neliana is more difficult and changed a lot. Now she's quiet but I don't believe that this is her real 'character'. When she speaks, her words are good choice and she knows exactly what she's doing. That's also the reason why I'm so surprised at the moment that Lia is sitting there so calm while Leonardo and Alessandro are scolding Nic. 

I would lie if I say that I'm not jealous of their bond. The carefree moments between them were so nice and adorable to watch and I would do anything to be part of it. Spend time with them. Maybe in the future. Hopefully in the future.  

"Okay, with that: Niccolo, Damon, Damian, Valentino, Georgio and Silvio go out. Neliono, Neliana, we'll have a little talk now." - Alessandro orders. 

"Oh come on! Why?" Of course, Damon grumbles but that's a talk between us, the responsible for them, and Neliono and Neliana. I will let Alessandro speak. He's the legal guardian so he's also the one who will tell them the rules and ask the most curious question. The one where Nelione is.
