I walked down the halls as i just came back from Ego's office. It's so annoying how i have to give him my phone. I wish i could keep it. There's like nothing to do during my free time.
I turned and i saw a figure sitting outside of my room door. Are they ok? Why are they sitting outside of my room? Do they know me? I didn't tell anyone where my new room is located yet.. Wait, could they be hurt and need a nurse?? I quickly ran towards the figure as i called out to them. "Hey! Are you ok??" I reached the figure and he seems to be sleeping. I ducked down to get a look at their face.
"Nagi?!" I almost shouted as the tired boy's eyes fluttered open. "Oh- Sorry! I didn't mean to wake you-" I started to apologise in panic as he cut me off by pulling me into a tight hug. "N-nagi?? Are you hurt?" I asked while he shook his head, eyes closed. I hugged him back awkwardly as we were hugging in a weird position. My whole body was practically placed right on top of him as i sat on his lap. He laid his head on my chest as his arms snaked around my waist. Though he seems to be really tired, so i didn't disturb him.
We sat like that for a good 2 minutes or so until Nagi spoke up. "Where were you today..? You were gone.. I couldn't find you anywhere...." My eyes shot up as i looked down at him in my arms. He was already looking at me with a cute pout. I chuckled, "aww.. Were you looking for me?" He didn't even hesitate and nodded which startled me. He's the bold type.. "It was such a hassle. Now answer my question.. Where were you?" I guess Ego didn't tell anyone i was out. "I went out," I replied as Nagi's eyes widened a bit. "I wanna go out too." He looked at me with pleading eyes. I nervously chuckled, "you have to ask Ego.. Not me.." He then started to whine and place his head back on my chest. "Soft.. I like this pillow." He muttered as he slowly fell asleep on me. I pushed him back and quickly stood up hiding my obvious red face. "What's wrong..?" Nagi shot me a confused look. "I was just getting comfortable.." My voice shivered as i replied, "you can't sleep out here Nagi..!!" Nagi just gave his usual bored poker face and yawned. "Why not..?" I stared at him unbelievably as i put my thumb on the thumbprint scanner, leading the door to my room open up. "This is a hall Nagi, you might even get stepped on by people crossing by." I walked in as Nagi slowly wobbled in after. "This is such a hassle.."
"So, what's the main reason for your presence here? You did tell me you've been here since this morning.." I asked Nagi while placing his tea in front of him. He had his arms crossed, laying his head on them as he took a small nap. "This isn't comfortable.. Can i sleep on you y/n?" I blushed and scolded him. "You can't say that to a lady! It's.. It's not polite at all!!" I stuttered. "What a hassle." He replied in his usual tone as he bobbed his head back on his arms. "Well? Why are you here Nagi?" I asked again. Nagi peeked from his arms as he thought about it. "Hmm.. Oh, right. I wanted to play your Switch." I deadpanned. "What?" Nagi simply answered while sitting up again. "Nothing.. Isn't Reo looking for you?" Nagi stared blankly at me and hummed. "I forgot." This kid really can't be reliable..
"I won!!" I jumped up giving a wink at Nagi. "Not fair.. You cheated." He frowned. "Nah-uh! I won fair and square! Admit your loss, Nagi!" Nagi huffed, "no!" I sat back down next to Nagi as i giggled. "Whatever, at least we all know who's better at mario cart," I said in a playful tone angering Nagi on purpose. "Oh!" I then saw the alarm clock i have on my table, "it's already 10, you need to head back Nagi." He whined, "already? No..!" I patted his head with a soft smile. "I had fun today Nagi, thank you." Nagi stared at me for a few seconds before standing up. "Mhm, i enjoyed this date too." I blushed, "date..?" Nagi nodded and walked towards the door. "I think that's what you call it.. A gaming date i guess?" He then opened the door, "let's have a date again somewhen.. Night."
As he walked out, i feel my legs turn into jelly as i slowly fell onto the floor. I sat there, confused, yet flustered. What's up with today? Is the world ending? What's going on..?
