"What's wrong?"

Yen Ying asked in concern.

Obviously noticing the apparent panic on Shu Ling's face she felt her justice senses going off.

So, she needed to ask.

Shu-Ling looked over at Yen Ying and hurriedly showed her the phone screen.

Yen Ying's eyes slightly widened as she looked over the messages.

[We have your secretary, Xu Ruo.]

[She will be held as a hostage until our demands are met.]

[The following are demands: 1st, go on a date with Lin Fan, 2nd, drug him, and 3rd, r*pe him.]

[As long as you follow these demands we will not touch a single hair on Xu Ruo.]

"Unbelievable..."

Yen Ying muttered under her breath.

Rubbing her forehead in annoyance she really wanted to pull out her hair as of right now...

'What the hell are these demands!?'

She screamed inside her head.

Not in her entire career as a police officer has she experienced such weird demands from kidnappers.

Usually, it's money, revenge, or they were simply not stable mentally wise.

"Wh-What do I do... They messaged me yesterday... I forgot to check my phone... Will Xu Ruo be r*ped, killed, or any of the sorts!?"

Shu-Ling began freaking out as she began hyperventilating.

A rapid breathing came from her mouth filled with anxiety and panic.

A little sweat began forming around her body.

Currently, her emotions were in complete utter chaos.

"First, you need to calm down."

Yen Ying said a serious expression appearing on her face.

Taking her words seriously, Shu Ling placed her hand over her chest and calmed the chaotic emotions that were showing on her face.

After a couple of minutes of silence, she finally calmed herself.

"I apologize, for showing such an ugly sight..."

She slightly bowed her head toward the other heroines.

"Oh my, don't worry about it..."

Ling Shui showed a small smile.

Lin Yen moved over to Shu Ling and patted her on the shoulder.

"Yeah, you shouldn't be sorry... It looks like your friend was taken hostage..."

Ai Yao didn't say a word, she just kept floating.

Feeling the kindness from the others, Shu Ling's eyes moistened.

"You guys... Thank you."

Her words were sincere.

"What should we do..."

Lin Yen asked with a hint of hesitation.

This was the first time in her entire life she's ever been put in this situation.

"Should we call the police?"

Ling Shui stated the obvious fucking solution.

"Or... We can try and reason with the kidnappers..."
