Taco parked her bike outside of the small sandwich shop that she worked at. Today was the first day she was going to be working without the help of her manager. She felt a little anxious about it, but was determined to do her best. She wondered who her coworker(s) could be. As she locked her bike into place, she noticed a boy with a black visor and an afro. He wore a mask over his mouth. He watched her through the window with a blank expression. She knew this boy. She'd seen him a couple of times while she was being trained. His name was Eraser.

She entered the vestibule, ready to get to work. She pushed her way through the second door. Eraser waved at her, to which she returned the gesture with a "Hi."

She moved towards the locked door and entered the code into the pad. When she opened the door, a smaller man was standing by the dishes. He seemed to be daydreaming. He acknowledged Taco without a word as she moved past him. She saw him on a few occasions before, too. His name was 8-Ball. She thought he was kinda weird, but didn't say anything about it. He seemed to get along with his coworkers, so. She clocked in and moved towards the front of the shop, where Eraser was behind the register. "Hey, Taco." He casually greeted.

"Hi, Eraser." She put her hands on her hips and looked around the sandwich shop. Everything seemed to be in order, except for a few dishes left out that had yet to be brought over to the sink.

"8-Ball and I did most of the food prep, so it should be a pretty easy night for you and Blocky." Eraser told her.

Taco blinked. "Sorry, who's Blocky?"

"Oh yeah." Eraser shook his head once. "He's gonna be working with you." Eraser walked past her and she followed. He brought her to the bulletin board. Pinned to the board was a piece of paper with all employee names and when each was scheduled to work. "Seems like you're gonna be working with him a lot."

She studied the paper. As Eraser said, Blocky was going to be working with her on the weekends. Four P.M. to nine P.M. She looked at Eraser. "Is he a good worker..?" She asked, almost nervously.

Eraser's eyes seemed to brighten a little. "Oh, yeah. Blocky's a funny guy. He's a really fun guy to work with." Eraser glanced at the dishes, where 8-Ball was putting away dry dishes. "But he's also a good worker, so you don't need to worry."

Taco paused, staring at Blocky's name on the work schedule. "..Alright." A bit of hope came to her. Maybe there was nothing to worry about.

"Once he gets here, 8-Ball and I'll head out." Eraser said. "In the meantime, just stand out at the front and help anyone that comes in."

"Okay." She responded with a positive smile.

Taco scanned the food selections. Everything was filled at least decently, so she kinda just stood there and looked out the large glass windows of the shop. Soon, though, a boy in a subway uniform exited from a car and entered the shop. She swore she'd seen him before, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Either way, that must be Blocky. His brows raised subtly when he saw her. "Hey." He waved, a hint of awkwardness in his tone. His expression didn't show it, though. She waved back. As he went through the locked door to get to the back of the shop, Taco thought about it more. Then she finally remembered where she'd seen Blocky from. He was a guy that went to her school. A lot of the times she'd see him in the halls causing some sort of ruckus. He was pretty infamous among the people, since he always pulled a lot of unwanted pranks. This.. was a little concerning.
