You're Not Alone

"Is it just me, or has Leafy been acting a bit weird lately?" Coiny whispered to Needle.

"A bit? Coiny, she has been acting strange ever since she joined the team!" Needle shouted.

"Yeah. She has been acting weird. I suggest we help her! Comfort her!" Loser walked over smiling.

Cake was by his side. "Yeah, I don't know why she's so upset, but I want to help!"

"Yeah, why IS Leafy upset?" Eggy asked, joining the conversation. Clock nodded next to her.

"Because of me." A voice spoke from behind all of them. Firey. He had a regretful look on his face as he walked over. "Ive been ignoring her since BFDIA. She thinks I hate her." Firey looked down.

Some of the losers had disapproving faces. Pin walked up to Firey and put a hand on his shoulder. "Well, then apologize to her! I'm sure she will forgive you. She is like that. Then you can get back to being friends!"

Firey looked up at Pin and smiled. "Yeah.. let's go."

As they started going to comfort Leafy, one of them saw her go into the forest.

Leafy panted as she ran through the forest. Tears escaped her eyes as she ran. She needed to find a place far away from the bfb grounds to calm down. It's where she belonged, amongst the trees and leaves.

She had tried apologizing to her old team, B.E.E.P, but she got rejected. Balloony said everyone hated her.

She couldn't stand thinking about that. So she ran away. Away from that mess. She needed to be alone.

Everyone hates you

She shut her eyes.

Everyone wishes you would die

Her breaths fasten.

Nobody cares.

"Oughf!" She hit a tree. She fell down on her back and didn't stand up. She just cried. The world hated her. She wanted to die. She wished she could just end it all.

Footsteps. Voices.

Her brain wanted to run, but her body stayed put, and kept crying. But she did slow down her sobbing.

Soon enough, a chorus of footsteps came to her and knelt next to her. Her team. The Losers.

"Leafy, are you ok?" Loser asked, grabbing Leafy's right hand. Leafy hiccuped. She tried responding, but couldn't get anything out.

Needle pushed in. "Guys, give her some space." Everyone stepped back. Needle helped Leafy up. "You alright?"

Leafy hiccuped again. "Y-Yeah."

Needle frowned. The others started to surround her again.

"Leafy, why have you been so upset recently?" Coiny asked, straight up.

Leafy stared at each one of her teammates concerned eyes as she tried to come up with something to say.

She coughed. "Wh-Why would you guys care? You hate me anyway."

"What?" Loser laughed. "Leafy, we don't hate you! We love and accept you! Don't think we hate you, cause we don't."

"Yeah! Even if it doesn't seem like it, we're all here for you!" Eggy chimed in.

"Yeah, I kinda relate to you. I feel like I'm hated or unappreciated, too." He glared at his team.

"We're all here for you, Leafy. The whole team." Pin smiled.

Leafy sniffled, but still wasn't fully convinced. "O-Oh yeah? Th-Then where's F-Firey?" She tried her best to look angry, but she was shaking.

Everyone on the teams smiled as they opened up a small path. And a bright orange flame was on the other side.

Leafy's mouth dropped down, and tears threatened her eyes. "Wha..?"

Firey started walking closer. "Leafy, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have ignored you. Even if it was at the cost of my reputation, I shouldn't have pretended to forget you. And for that, I'm so sorry. Let's be.." Firey grabbed both of Leafy's hand in his. "Let's be friends again." He had a sincere and genuine smile oh his face.

Leafy looked down at her hands in his, then back to his smile. She then started bawling. Firey hugged her as she cried. (I know this isn't possible, but just go with it)

The whole team closed in on Leafy and started to hug her.

From the middle of the pile, Leafy said, "Thank you, guys."
