Coiny trudged through the snow, the snow underneath his boots made a satisfying crunch when he stepped down. He wished he could enjoy the noise and scenery around him, but he had to run around, looking for Firey. It was snowing out, and there was a wind, making Coiny's face freeze.

Firey never returned back to the house, and everyone was worried. Firey HATED the cold, just on its own. There was snow and a breeze, making it colder. Even with heavy duty snow clothes, he'd rather stay inside. What if he froze somewhere? What if he's lost?

The whole team went searching for him, Coiny was in charge of checking the outskirts of the city. He ran across the fenced gate, checking the perimeter, expecting nothing. He felt bad that he got the job that was kind of obscure, since he probably wasnt on the edge of the city boundaries, but at least he was doing his part and helping a little.

He panted as he ran across the outside. He slowed down to catch his breath, and looked out at the sea surrounding the city. A bunch of small ice platforms were floating out there, slowly melting and eroding from the water. He took a deep breath, and decided to slow down and walk.

He looked down at the snow, it's whiteness looking a lot less blinding at night. He looked up again, watching as all the little snowflakes drifted downwards to the ground. He watched his breath come out as white mist. It blew up into the air and dissapeared, blending in with the cold night sky.

In the distance he could see a figure. His eyes widened, but then he slimmed them to focus on who the figure was. That couldn't be Firey.. standing outside the city gates? In the cold, at night, admiring the view? The figure was looking out at the sea, unmoving.

They had their hands in their large jacket pockets. As Coiny got closer and closer, he could see the long orange and red hair, flowing with the wind. Firey had a very large winter coat that covered his chin. He had earmuffs, to keep his ears warm, and he had long boots, but surprisingly no snow pants, only very thick pants.

Firey seemed to hear Coiny coming. He turned his head to face Coiny. "Hey." He said from behind the gate.

Coiny struggled to climb over in the cold. He fell off the top of the fence and fell on his back in the snow, some of the snow bouncing up and landing inside his coat, leaving his neck with cold spots. He grunted. "Hey."

Firey looked down at him with a blank stare. He took out his hand and held it out to Coiny. His hand had warm yellow mittens on. Coiny took his hand and was helped up. The snow on his neck slid down his body a little, causing him to since a little. Firey returned to look out at the vast sea.

Coiny stared at him. He seemed so focused, so.. it was so un-firey-like. He almost never seemed so serious. Coiny studied his tense body posture. "Uh.."

Firey looked at Coiny again. A smile appeared on his face. "Sorry for staying so late! I got a bit busy." Firey started climbing the fence. "Let's head back. It's freezing out here."

Firey landed on the other side, and looked back at Coiny. His face was completely red. It was freezing out here. Coiny was so confused. "Yeah.." He said, climbing over the fence, this time making sure to stick the landing.

Firey immediately felt the hot wave hit his face. It burned a little, the sudden change of temperature. His nose and cheeks especially felt the difference. He, along with Coiny, took off their winter gear, setting them aside neatly in their respective areas.

As Firey headed to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate, Coiny grabbed his shoulder. "I'm gonna call everyone to tell them I found you."

Firey nodded. "Got it." He walked into the kitchen and started boiling some water in a pan. He assumed everyone would be cold from searching for him, so it's be nice to make some hot cocoa for everyone. He got eight cups.
