Barf Bag hugged herself, and kept trudging through the snow.

Due to a car failure of malfunction, she had to walk home. The cold snow fell onto her face. She just tried to keep the cooling blanket around her close.

It was all she had now. Her shoes were flooded with snow, her nose, and ears were redder than her blood.

When tears came to her eyes, they seemed to freeze up instantly on her face. She kept letting out shaky breathe, as she struggled to keep going.

She was weak. Out of desperation, she screamed as loud as she could. "HELLLLLP! PLEASE HEL-!" She coughed tremendously as her face came inches short of the snow.

She had no hope anymore. She let her knees sink into the snow as she waited for death's scythe to cut her and take her to the next life.

But soon after, she heard a vehicle pull up and stop. She looked at the lights. She could tell that the vehicle was white.

For a brief moment she felt utter joy and happiness. She looked at a figure step out of the vehicle. "Hey! You need help?" They called out.

She just let out a crooked smile and nodded as much as she could.

They quickly steeped away from their vehicle and helped her up from her kneeling position. She leaned against him as he helped her into his truck.

He gave her a warm blanket. She shuddered as he entered the other side of the truck. She turned and smiled, asking shakily, "H-hhHhhoww D-did you find m-meeeEhehee?"

"I heard your cries for help. I was driving back from cutting down a Christmas tree. I heard you, and found you here." They looked at her, when they came to a long straight road. "My name is X. What about you?" X smiled.

"Oh. Im-m.. Barf Bag." She was starting to shudder a little less, but was still cold.

"What happened to you out there?" He asked, turning back to the road.

"My car engine stopped working o-orrrRrr s-something."

X nodded. "Here, I'll take you to my place where you can warm up. I'll call one of my friends tommorow, and we'll fix your car up."

Barf Bag smiled. "That would be wonderful. Thank you." She wanted to hug him, but was still a little too cold to do so.

After about ten minutes of driving, Barf Bag was leaning on X's shoulder, asleep. X smiled. How cute. He wondered if she had any parents or friends to look after her.

He had his own business to attend to, like setting up the Christmas tree, and getting presents for his kid, friends, and family.

But, hey, maybe she could turn out to be one of the better parts of the family. So maybe taking care of her wouldn't be too bad. She could help him.

Barf Bag woke up to X softly shaking her. "Cmon, get up. We are here." X spoke softly. She opened her eyes slowly, meeting X's. He smiled as he noticed this.

"Come on, up and at em." He smiled kindly.

Barf Bag felt a lot warmer, but too tired to move. "Nn.. could you carry me? I need rest." She mumbled.

X chuckled as he picked her up carefully out of his truck. He opened the door, walked up the stairs and set her gently down into a guest bedroom. He put a few more blankets on her to keep her comfortable.

Barf Bag reminded him of his daughter. His smile faded a bit, thinking about her. He'll see her soon enough.

Barf Bag had since fallen asleep. He brushed her hair, and smiled again, quietly leaving the room.

He swiftly picked up the phone when he walked downstairs. He quickly dialed in a number.

He looked outside. It was getting dark. He'd have to get ready for bed soon.

"Hello?"

"Oh! Four! Hey, so.. I found this girl.. how do I say this?" He rested his hand on his forehead.

"Ooooooh! Did X find a new wife?" Four teased.

"No!" He shouted. "So, after getting a new tree, I heard a girl cry for help. I soon found her and took her into my house to help her. I just.. I just need you to help me find and fix her car tommorow. Is that ok with you?"

"Hmm.." Four's voice could barely be heard as he comprehended the situation. "Sure. I'll be there tommorow."

X smiled. "That's great! See you around Four!"

"Good night, X." Four spoke, hanging up.

X sighed, as he set down the phone. He shut an ajar window. It was peaceful, about as peaceful as any other night. But something was different.. not in a bad way!. Just.. different.

He sighed, as he walked up the stairs.

When he went to go into the bathroom, he heard a faint, "Thank you, X."

He grinned, happy to hear that she appreciated it.

Thank you, Dad.

But as soon as that happiness came, it faded, and drifted into sadness. He frowned. "Your welcome." He spoke softly. He shut the door to the bedroom.

He missed her so much.

He almost cried, but somehow managed not to break down.

He brushed his teeth, read a book, and went to bed soon after.
