Coiny picked up the old sword. It was getting dull on the edges, and a layer of dust coated around the metal. He grabbed a paper towel and started picking the dust away. From behind him, Pin watched, upset and worried. Coiny then, after cleaning the dust, picked up an old edge sharpener and started making the sword look dangerous again.

Satisfied, Coiny let out a small sigh and stood up from the chair he sat on. He walked past Pin, and into his small room. He picked up his old warrior tunic. It was too small for his body, now.

Instead, he wore a hand made light jacket Pin had made a while back for him. He put it on. It was warm. He smiled, putting on long socks and his old boots.

He undid the bun he had, and let his hair fall down. It covers his ears, making it feel warm, although it slightly reduced his hearing.

Before leaving the room, he grabbed his new shield Pin had made for him a few days ago. It was sleek, and had a cool design. As he left the room, he shot one quick glance at an old photo of him and Pin. They were both smiling, and looked young.

Coiny couldn't help but smile, reliving the memory in his mind.

He walked down the stairwell, to get his sword. When he got there, Pin was still there, standing still and staring at the sword. Coiny frowned and grabbed the sword.

Pin was close to crying when he looked.

Coiny passed by an old collage of photos. It was from the past, with him and his friends. All when they were still with the two. Him, Pin, Firey, Eggy and Clock.

Firey was immune to fire, could turn his body into flames, and throw fireballs at opponents. Pin could change her fingers into claws and it allowed her to climb walls and attack more viscously. Eggy could throw explosives from her hands and detonate them at will. And Clock could slow down time, and even rewind time a few seconds backward, although it was a very limited power.

Coiny had a sad smile on his face as he walked out the door, to see the beautiful luscious forest. He could also see the opening to Gerudo Valley. (Ok, so, while writing this scene I imagine stuff from The Legend Of Zelda. I've never played it, though. So don't say this is bullshit or whatever, nerds)

Coiny's power? Being able to turn into copper. It wasn't very great offensively, so he needed a sword to help.

He went to the back of the house, towards the manger where two horses stayed. Used to be three, before Coiny's really old horse died. The one he went on adventures with. It didn't have a name. None of his horses had names. Reason being, it would be harder to see them die if they had names.

Coiny put his sheild on his back and put his sword in his scabbard. He picked the younger of the two horses, and started leading it to the front of the house, where Pin was waiting.

Pin was too weak to come along with Coiny on his mission. Pin rubbed the horse Coiny brought on the head. The horse neighed softly.

Coiny stood next to Pin. "I'm gonna miss you." He whispered, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Pin looked at him, sadness in her eyes, but happy for him. "I'm gonna miss you, too."

Coiny smiled, jumping into the horse's back.

He brought the horse to the start of the trail to Gerudo Valley. He stared at the light coming from the valley.  "Hey," Pin spoke. Coiny looked at her. "Promise me you'll come back." Pin says.

Coiny looks back at the light, then back to Pin. He puts on a confident smile. "I will, Pin. Cause if I don't, the world ends. So I will, Pin. I will come home." Coiny jumps off the horse and hugs Pin. They both stay still for a moment before letting go, each smiling at each other. Coiny gets back on the horse. Coiny grabs the reigns. "Hyah." The horse starts running down the pathway, and into the light at the end of the path.

Before getting to the valley, Coiny took one last look back at the house. Pin was still watching. "I'll miss you, Pin. And if I don't make it out.." Coiny looked up at the sky, now that he was outside in the valley. "I'll see you guys on the flip side."

This was a bit cheesy, but eh. So uh, I got inspired by a little musical thing He_Who_Is made. He is really cool, check him out, give him a follow. The musical track he made was for the OST of our object show. You should join the discord and help! But, like, seriously, we really need help, we don't have enough people helping us. We really really need help there. Please join ;-;
