Request // Tk gets pregnant and tells Carlos

They've been trying for a kid for a while but it hasn't worked out for them they've tried IVF trials you name it they've tried it

They had been married for two years and they have been trying for just over a year and yet they got nothing

" maybe it's me - maybe it's just the universe trying to tell me that I'd be a horrible father .." Tk said as Carlos cooked them dinner " Ty - it will happen you just have to give it some time .." Carlos said, "Carlos it's been over a year we've done IVF we've tried it naturally we've done god knows how many trials and we get nothing every time," Tk said sipping on his water

"We will keep trying .." Carlos said kissing Tk's head before grabbing a seat next Tk him "What's the point ..." Tk said "We can't keep putting ourselves through this Carlos .." Tk said

"It's not that I don't want to have a kid it's just - I don't think that we can keep doing this to ourselves Carlos .." Tk said holding back tears

we can wait a few months to start looking into adoption or surrogacy, I am okay with that. Okay, if you need some time you can have that time. Whatever you want to do .." Carlos said softly

"I love you, Carlos Reyes .." Tk said as Carlos wiped the tear from under his eyes "I love you too Tyler," Carlos said

"Hey Dad can I talk to you about something ..." Tk said softly

"What's up, my favorite son ." Owen teased "I'm your only son Dad-" Tk said, "What's going on ?" Owen asked "Me and Carlos have been trying for a baby .." Tk said

"Tk that's amazing !" Owen said, "Wait - it is right ?" Owen asked looking at Tk's face "It is - but we have been trying for over a year now .. and nothing happened .." Tk said biting his nail

"Have you guys talked to a doctor ..?" Owen asked, "yeah we've done IVF and so many trials nothing is wrong with either of us the doctors don't understand why it's not happening.." Tk said

"Maybe you need to just not the right time. I and your mother were trying for 8 months to have you and we finally stopped when we thought all hope was lost and next thing I know you were born and I was holding your little body ." Owen said

"Don't give up hope son - whether you guys doing it naturally or adopting it will be the best day of your life when you hold that baby in your hands .." Owen said, "thanks, Dad.." Tk smiled

3 months later

Tk had been feeling sick for the past couple of days but he thought nothing of it until he found himself up at 3 in the morning while Carlos was on an overnight shift puking his guts out

It wasn't until he flushed the toilet that the thought crossed his mind

He waited until Friday which was their stay-at-home date night to tell Carlos he found a onesie that said (hello Daddy)

"Hey babe ?" Tk called "Can you come up here ." Tk asked

"Yeah, one sec !" Carlos called from downstairs

When Carlos came upstairs he saw Tk smiling at him "Close your eyes ." Tk smiled "Tk I swear to god if you put a lizard in my hand ." Carlos smiled

"Just close them ." Tk smiled

He placed the onesie in Carlos's hand "Open your eyes ." Tk smiled Carlos unfolded the onesie seeing the message

"Your pregnant?" Carlos said looking up at Tk Tk pulled the pregnancy test out from behind his back "your gonna be a dad ." Tk smiled "Oh my gosh Tk that's amazing !!" Carlos smiled and picked Tk up spinning him around when Carlos finally put Tk down Tk could finally see the tears that were in Carlos's eyes "Aww baby don't cry ." Tk smiled wiping Tk's tears "I'm just so happy-.." Carlos smiled "Are you okay? How do you feel ?" Carlos said, "Baby I'm okay ." Tk smiled " your gonna be a dad ." Tk smiled "Oh my god I love you so much ." Carlos smiled

Carlos knelt down To Tk's stomach " I can't wait to meet you baby." Carlos said kissing Tk's stomach
