tk was protective over Carlos
so when Carlos was trapped under a collapse nothing was gonna stop him from doing everything he could to get to him to make sure he was safe

"All alright listen up guys dispatch said there's an officer and three civilians reported to be inside fire goes in pulls them out they go to medical too. get checked out and then transported  ." Owen ordered, " Owen it's Carlos ." Grace said over the radio

that's when tk took his attention away from setting up "I'm going in ." TK said, "The hell you are ." Owen said "Your off this scene completely I mean it tk ." owen said

" that means no going in no medical either we don't do personal cases. None of us  do you hear me ?" Owen said "Got it ." tk huffed as he watched the rest of the team go in " he's gonna be fine ." Nancy assured tk

tk waited anxiously listening to everything that was being said on the radio "Located 2 civilians  they seem to be okay except for a few broken bones no signs of being paralyzed coming out to your medical cap no sign of Carlos or the other civilian." paul said over the radio " they are probably nearby..." nancy said

"I'm going in ." tk said grabbing a coat in gear "Tk no that's an order," Tommy said
" fire me then ." tk said before heading into the building

" All firefighters abandon your equipment and exit the building the structure is unstable and is at risk of another collapse," Owen reported

when the rest of the firefighters exited the building Owen looked around "Where the hell is tk ?" Owen asked

"he went in .." Tommy said and thats when the structer had its second collapse

"Strand respond ?" judd went over the radio

" go for baby strand " paul said

But the radio remained silent

" copy .. call me that again and i swear ill change my last name ."  tk huffed

" tk get out of there now ." owen said angrily over the radio " no can do ." tk said

" i get where the kids coming from if that was gracie hell if i'm staying out ." judd said

" Carlos !" tk called " carlos can you hear me ?"tk called and that's when Tk heard the sound of metal banging against something "Keep doing that okay I'm coming ."
the banging got closer " jesus carlos ." tk said when he discovered  Carlos

"you shouldn't be in here  ." carlos breathed out painfully .

"neither should you ." tk added before  he noticed the body next to Carlos " she's dead .." Carlos sighed " she died after the first collapse .." Carlos sighed   Tk knelt down trying to see what had Carlos pinned

"Tk .." Carlos breathed " I can't feel my legs.." Carlos said " that's bad ." Carlos trailed off in efforts to keep Carlos calm " no your pinned you have been for awhile numbness is normal .. your also probably in shock .." Tk said trying to not only calm Carlos but himself " your dad let you come in here?" Carlos said as Tk decided which was the best possible option to get Carlos out

"Yeah about that I might have to hunt for a new firehouse after this ." Tk mumbled " Tk seriously get out of here it's not safe ." Carlos hummed " and leave you never ." Tk said  getting up trying to remove the piece of debris that trapped Carlos

"Jesus what the hell ." Tk said panting " imagine having it on your leg ." Carlos said as he let out a laugh " shut up ." Tk said

He reached for his radio but it was missing from his coat he couldn't come for backup tools nothing

"Something's wrong ." Owen said from the outside  " he's not answering his radio something happened ." Owen said " I'm going in Judd your in charge ." Owen said

"Cap your not seriously going in are you ." Judd asked " he's my son what else am I supposed to do ." Owen said " fine then I'm coming with ." Judd said

"No you have a little girl at home Judd and I'm not gonna be responsible for her losing her daddy ."

" she's not we're all family here those are my brothers in here ." Judd said

"Tk ! Carlos ! Can you guys hear us ." Owen said as they stepped over the rubble " Tyler !" Owen called

"Carlos !" Judd called " we're here !! Back here ." Tk called

Owen and Judd rushed as Tk kept calling them " Tk are you hurt ?!" Owen said rushing touching Tk's face " no im fine dad ." Tk hummed " looks like your pretty pinned there brother ." Judd teased

Tk pulled Judd and Owen away " he can't feel his legs .." Tk said softly

" you don't think .." Owen said

" it could be just shock but the odds are in favor of the other option ." Tk said Judd looked

" if we lift this thing off of him either he's gonna feel the pain like hell or we're gonna have to carry him out ."  Judd said

" okay Los we're gonna lift this thing off of you okay and then we're gonna get out of here ." Tk said " thank god ." Carlos said softly

" okay on 3 ." Owen said

Carlos screamed in pain Tk couldn't help but smile as they dropped the piece of debris

" can  you feel me touching you ?" Tk said " Jesus yes and it hurts like hell!" Carlos groaned

" alright let's get him out of here ." Judd laughed

One arm on Tk shoulder and one arm on judds they made their way out when medical had a gurney waiting for him

They helped him onto the gurney when Tk took off the firefighter coat

" you still got it I see ." Owen said

Tk laughed softly as he watched as Nancy and Tommy checked Carlos out

"  and as much as I miss you on my team you ever do that again I'll kill you ." Owen said " so I'm not fired ?" Tk said

"No because I understand why and I know it's only because of that big stupid heart of yours ." Owen said wrapping his arm around Tk

" but it's a good chance to put Carlos in the doghouse for a change ." Owen laughed
