Prompt - Carlos makes an effort to keep their relationship special even after marriage

The annual 126 Stand Up to Cancer fundraiser was coming up and Carlos decided to make the most out of it he always took off for the occasion he knew how much it meant to Tk and he wanted to be part of that it was the day of the fundraiser and Carlos decided to get up a little earlier to do something a little special for Tk

He quietly got dressed but of course, he had to move Tk off of his chest so sleepily Tk mumbled as Carlos got dressed "You leaving ?" Tk mumbled, "Going for a run I'll be back in a bit ." Carlos lied as he leaned down to quickly comb through Tk's bed head and plant a kiss on his forehead "Love you ." Carlos said as he tucked Tk in "Love you ... weirdo ." Tk mumbled Tk never understood why Carlos woke up at the ass crack of a damn to go for a run he would rather sleep and work out at a reasonable hour he would always tease Carlos about it but then again Carlos was always better about getting up earlier

Carlos made his way out to the local farmers market he picked up some flowers Tk's favorites were daisies he liked that they had some yellow in them he always liked the color yellow and he got some coffee his hot Tk's iced his black Tk's a vanilla latte And some bagels
For breakfast he made his way back to the loft put it all on a nice tray and made his way up to the bedroom when he came in he saw Tk Folding some laundry on the bed with his AirPods in "Hey you ." Tk smiled putting his AirPods in his lilo and stitch case "What's this ." Tk smiled looking at the tray in Carlos's hands "This.. oh, nothing just me asking you on a date ." Carlos teased putting the tray down on the table "You me tonight the fundraiser and we can get frozen yogurt after ." Carlos said as Tk laughed "You do know that we are married right ." Tk smiled looking up at Carlos

" so what I can't ask my beautiful husband out on a date ." Carlos said, "You're such as simp ." Tk smiled getting off the bed " Is that a yes ?" Carlos asked, "Yes you big dummy I'll go on a date with you ." Tk smiled jumping on Carlos

They went early to go set up for the fundraiser but before the actually event started everyone went to get ready real quick " babe you almost ready ?" Carlos asked " i look ridiculous in suits ." Tk ridiculed " i for one think you look amaing in suits  so get your butt out here so i can see ."   Carlos said as he sat on the bed in his blue tux Tk came out in his sage green suit " oh my god you look amazing ." Carlos said picking Tk up " you're obligated to say that ." Tk laughed " it's the truth ." Carlos smiled " not to shabby yourself officer hotty."

" oh thats my name now ." Carlos smile as he pulled Tk closer to him by his belt loops "maybe ." Tk smiled

The fundraiser seemed like it was going well they had done all their parading around trying to get people to open their wallets and donate whatever they could to stand up to cancer now the rest of the night was left for people to enjoy their night " you okay ?" Carlos asked as he came up behind Tk wrapping his arms around his waist

"Yeah ." Tk said with a small smile " well how come you've been nursing on that punch for the last hour ." Carlos hummed " there's just a lot going on in here not really sure where I fit in ." Tk said "I'll be back ."Carlos said softly kissing Tk's forehead

He made his way through the crowd and then finnsly found Owen and pulled him aside " what's up Carlos ?" Owen asked " Tk's not feeling that great would you mind if I just took him home a bit early tonight ?" Carlos lied he knew Owen would of course say yes when it came to Tk Owen just cared that he was okay and if Tk wasn't feeling good he would be the first one to send him home asap

"Of course thank you guys for all your help seriously get home rest up tell him I hope he feels better ." Owen says they exchange a hug before Carlos returns to Tk " let's go ." Carlos smiled " where are we going ?" Tk asked as Carlos guided him through the crowd " we are going to finish our date ." Carlos smiled "babe we cant just leave ." Tk laughed as they got outside  " yes actually we can he  i talked to your
"I told him. You weren't feeling well and he gave me the all clear to take you home ."  Carlos said opening the passenger side door for Tk

"Well look at you lying to your father in law ." Tk laughed as he got in " yeah not to proud of the lying part ." Carlos said shutting the door

They drove to the froyo place

Carlos got his usual vannila topped with gummy worms and Tk's got his peanut butter topped with bananas

They sat on the curb eating their froyo " thank you for tonight ." Tk smiled at Carlos before resting his head on Carlos's shoulder " of course sorry it wasn't just us ." Carlos said

" I still enjoyed it ." Tk smiled and who knows the nights not over I might have a few things up my sleeve ." Tk smiled " you fucking tease ." Carlos smiled grabbing him by the hand leading him to the car
