Tarlos One shots

A day in the life .. or a few

Post 3x4 Tk and Carlos have a conversation + a few days in Tk and Carlos's life

Not long after Tk was home from the hospital after a few weeks they were out lying on top of Carlos's car just like the night of the solar storm

Carlos noticed a light shiver from Tk "You okay ?" Carlos said looking over at Tk " Yeah." Tk said with a small smile

" your cold here ." Carlos said taking off his sweatshirt "No." Tk hesitated " I'm fine - you gonna get a cold ." Tk protested "I can afford a cold, but you can't afford to spend another night in the ICU." Carlos said,
"Thanks ." Tk said " Carlos -." Tk said "About -." Tk said looking at Carlos "Baby - we agreed nobody has to apologize." Carlos said, "No please - just .. please ." Tk said as Carlos let out a sigh

" I didn't leave because of you ." Tk said, " And I didn't mean to hurt you that was - that's was the absolute last thing I wanted ." Tk said stroking Carlos's face  "And I'm sorry I didn't call- I should've - I should have called ."   Tk said,  "Breathe.." Carlos said  watching as Tk took a strained breath "When you brought me to the loft I panicked and I ran -." Tk said tearing up "But I don't wanna run anymore not from you ." Tk said as Carlos kissed his forehead

"You here with me that's all I care about ." Carlos said wiping Tk's tears "Let's get you home ." Carlos said helping Tk off the top of his car when they got home to the loft  Carlos made them some tea while Tk sat on the couch bundled up in a blanket  Carlos made his way over to the couch with their mugs "I can't believe you did this all by yourself ." Tk said as he laid down between Carlos's legs "It was worth it. I got to bring you home ."  Carlos said softly

"I still can't believe you went into a pond to save a kid ."  Carlos said, "I wish you'd stop being such a hero and give me a minute to hold you before you slip into a coma ." Carlos teased "Yeah I should probably stay away from kids for a while." Tk said softly

"I missed this .. us ." Tk trailed off as he rubbed Carlos's leg "Well I'm not letting you go anywhere your mine forever now ."

A few days later...

"You look tired do you need a nap ?" Carlos asked, "Babe I had hypothermia I'm going back to work tomorrow the doctor cleared me you don't have to baby me ." Tk hummed as he folded laundry " You tired babe dont know if i like the idea of you going back to work so soon i mean your tired what if you get tired and the calls keep coming ." Carlos said walking over to Tk " you do know I've done 48 hour shifts before ?" Tk said as Carlos took over folding " go take a nap before you pass out ." Carlos said ruffling Tk's hair

When Carlos finished the laundry he came into the bedroom to check on Tk when he found Tk not in bed he opened the bathroom door seeing Tk cleaning the sinks " gloves off bed now ." Carlos ordered " your smothering me ." Tk said as he sat on the bed "Tk you can barley keep your eyes open just take a nap please ." Carlos said " will you stay with me ?" Tk did tugging on Carlos's  shirt "  Carlos sighed

"Your lucky your cute ." Carlos said joining tk in bed and that was all Tk needed he made himself comfortable on Carlos's chest and finally let himself stop fighting the sleep he needed

A few days later ....
Code 7 on the premises

Cop talk for lunch that is medical came back from a call only for Tk to find Carlos eating lunch with the fire team

" and here I thought you came to see me ." Tk teased rubbing Carlos's shoulder " that's a bonus ." Carlos smiled " you guys are so cute it's honestly disgusting

Carlos followed Tk to the ambulance " your not eating ?" Carlos asked " nah I gotta restock ." Tk hummed " what's the matter ?" Carlos asked " nothing ." Tk smiled he could tell Carlos wasn't buying " I'm just a little tired that's all ."

"You've gotta eat babe ." Carlos said " I know I will ." Tk said " I love you ."
