Carlos hated being sick -

So when he woke up with a slight fever he shrugged it off in hopes that his paramedic boyfriend wouldn't notice but when Tk came into the bathroom to brush his teeth the paramedic in him noticed something off

" you look pale ." Tk said, "Babe it's nothing I'm fine." Carlos shrugged him off "Come sit ." Tk said leading Carlos to the toilet and putting the lid down

Tk put the back of his hand on Carlos's head " your hot ." Tk said softly pushing back Carlos's curls " I know ." Carlos winked "Not funny ." Tk smirked, "Babe I have to get going ." Carlos said, " I need to take your temperature if you have a fever you need to stay home before it gets worse ." Tk said

" do you always need to go paramedic mode on me?" Carlos sighed as Tk put the thermometer in his mouth

"You married me ." Tk said as the thermometer beeped " 101 you're staying home ." Tk said, "Babe look I'll be fine I get off at 6 I'll drink lots of fluid and take some Tylenol to bring down the fever ." Carlos said "But -" Tk said, " I promise I'll be fine ." Carlos said kissing Tk's head " I love you ." Carlos smiled

"I love you too," Tk said before Carlos left

Little did Carlos know Tk was right

He sat at his desk doing paperwork he had what felt like the worst headache of his life his body ached and all he wanted to do was go home but he had three hours of his shift left " Reyes" his partner called "Hmm what ?" Carlos said he had practically tuned out everyone

" did you hear anything of what I said?" She asked, "If I say no will you be mad ?" Carlos sighed "What the hell happened to you ?"

"It's nothing I'm fine really," Carlos said massaging his temples his headache was getting worse

"Your about you puke aren't you," Lizzy asked all Carlos could do was nod

Carlos had lost track of time "Reyes your boyfriend Is here to pick you up.." Lizzy said tapping Carlos who lifted his head from the desk "No." Carlos mumbled

Lizzy helped Carlos out to the car " Thank you so much, Lizzy ." Tk thanked her as he got Carlos into the car

" I'm gonna have you in the back here okay baby?" Tk said helping Carlos lay down on the pillow "Just rest and when we get him you can get some more sleep."

When they got home Tk got Carlos inside and set in on the bed "Hey baby ?" Tk called " I'm tired ." Carlos mumbled he was delusional

"I know baby we just gotta get you out of your uniform.." Tk said Tk came with a glass of water and Tylenol "Here baby take this please ?" Tk asked Carlos surprisingly complied Tk then moved on to getting off Carlos's clothes he started taking off his shoes before moving to his pants Carlos was starting to fall asleep standing up "No no baby I need a few more seconds just let me get your shirt off once his inform was on the floor and he was down to his boxers he laid Carlos down before tucking him

Once Carlos was out like a light Tk got back to work Tk put a washcloth on his head before hooking in up to an iv he would have Carlos feeling better in no time Andrea had brought over Carlos's favorite childhood soup taking a peak at her boy before leaving

When Carlos woke up he felt a lot better he was still a little tired but he didn't have a headache anymore and he felt alert

"Hey, baby how was your nap ?" Tk asked coming out from the bathroom "Good I feel a lot better ." Carlos said rubbing his eyes "Wh-" Carlos said as he felt something attached to him "Oops sorry I hooked you to an iv while you slept. You needed to stay hydrated ." Tk said removing the iv

"I'm sorry I didn't listen earlier.." Carlos said looking at Tk "It's okay I love you in sickness and health but - next time your sick you better stay home and let me baby you ." Tk smiled
