Part Two of shots fired if you have not read it yet I suggest you go back and read it before this part two was requested by rebbece she's such a big supporter of mine so I made a part two just for her :)
Tk felt empty
How could he not
After the shot was fired Tk rushed downstairs he didn't see anyone except Carlos on the ground blood staining his blue shirt
"Carlos hey .." Tk said trying to wake Carlos up " shit ." Tk cursed under his breath as he dialed 911
"911 what's your emergency?" It was Grace
"Grace it's Carlos - he got shot and I can't fix it ." Tk said trying to search for a pulse " I can't find a pulse, Grace ." Tk said, "Okay I need you to do CPR okay I'm gonna get medical to you right away ."
"You got this sweetheart," Grace said softly
Tk did CPR until the medics came
Tk waited nervously in the waiting room with Andreas' promise of being there soon he couldn't get ahold of his dad "mijo." Andrea called as she came through the doors " Andrea I'm so sorry - " Tk said finally the tears that he was holding back
"This is not your fault okay? You can't torture yourself like that mijo." Andrea said pulling him in tighter "No matter what the outcome of this is - this is not on you the guilt that comes with thinking that .. it can destroy a person ."
Tk and Andrea waited hand in hand "You know the reason we were up that early was that he had a nightmare about Gabriel .." Tk said looking over at Andrea " Yeah that boy - he's so stubborn he has been since he was a little boy one thing though is that always wants to find Justice for people ." Andrea smiled " his father loved that about him ."
"He misses Gabriel a lot it's hard to see him grieve," Tk said picking at his fingers
" he never told me any of this .. he would always say he was fine ." Andrea sighed " I think he just wanted you to be okay ." Tk said, " I had to dig it out of him too." Tk said
"What's about you honey -Where's your dad? " Andrea asked " I couldn't get ahold of him I never really can anymore .." Tk sighed "Oh mijo." Andrea said taking Tk's hand into his own "No it's fine - I get it he's busy ." Tk said biting his lip
"Mijo if you keep making excuses for him the problem with never be resolved," Andrea said before the doctor came out with an update
"He's awake luckily we were able to get the bullet out without damaging any organs or Arteries but his recovery with being long ." The doctor said softly
"He's very lucky ." The doctor smiled
When they walked in Tk immediately went to hug Carlos "Don't ever scare me like that again Jesus ." Tk said kissing Carlos's cheek "I'm sorry for the scare but I'm okay I'm gonna be just fine ." Carlos said softly
"mijo I'm so glad you're okay," Andrea said kissing her son's forehead before stroking her hair
"I told you to drop the investigation the rangers told you that this could happen ." Andrea said looking at Carlos Tk looked over at Carlos tears forming in his eyes "You told me you dropped it .." Tk said looking at Carlos " I couldn't babe - he was my dad - I can't just let whoever - whoever murdered him get away with it ." Carlos said looking at Tk "You're telling me if the same thing happened to your mom you wouldn't do the same thing ." Carlos said
Tk just shook his head "Don't bring my mom into this ." Tk said softly before walking out
"Carlitos -" Andrea said shaking her head "You owe that boy an apology " he cried so much all because he was afraid of losing you," Andrea said
The next morning when Carlos woke up he saw Tk in the chair " You came back ." Carlos said softly
"Of course I did I couldn't just leave you here," Tk said with a small smile
"Look I understand why you want answers but when people warn you that you could get hurt - maybe listen I just - it was so scary seeing you laying there ..." Tk said wiping his eyes " I'm sorry I didn't tell you and I'm sorry I brought up your mom." Carlos said caressing tks cheek
"It's okay ." Tk said smiling at Carlos "Hey at least it was you who got shot this time it evens the playing field a bit ." tk jokes "Now that's not even funny ." Andrea said as she walked in
" I don't want either of you boys in here anymore ." Andrea said, "We make no promises ." Carlos said squeezing tks hand "You guys keep this up ill die of a heart attack ." Andrea joked "Mom that's not funny !" Carlos said, "What u thought we were all joking about death ." Andrea teased
