Request- post 4x04 at the hospital after Tk found Carlos and saved his life

His heart was still racing so fast for the time that they broke the door open and Tk saw Carlos laying on the floor

He had to do CPR on his soon-to-be husband just weeks before they were supposed to be married.

These thoughts remained tattooed in his brain as he waited in Carlos's room the doctors had given him a sedative and kept him on I've for now but they said the sedative should wear off soon so he just had to wait "You know mijo .. you saved my son's life today I couldn't be more thankful." Gabriel said catching Tk's attention but before Tk could open his mouth to thank the man Gabriel said " he can be stubborn sometimes - he's a little too good at his job and it gets him in trouble sometimes." Gabriel said

"I know that and I would never be mad at him I guess I just never knew how hard it would be to be on the opposite side of things .." Tk said biting his lip "You know when I started as a Texas ranger I got hurt quite a few times and Andrea had to sit through it." Gabriel said softly " And when she had her knee surgery I was a total wreck it felt so different to be on the other side of things ." Gabriel said, "But you know why we do it -because we love them and they love us we're family and we stick together ." Gabriel said, "You saved his life today ." Gabriel said patting Tk on the shoulder " I think he saved mine ." Tk admitted

Now Tk was left to wait Gabriel and Andrea had gone home promising to come back later in the evening to give the two men their time once their son awakened

So now Tk was left to wait the doctors had given him a sedative and hooked him up to it along with another dose of Narcan to flush the drugs that Trudy gave him earlier

"If you keep shaking your leg you might break the floorboard." Carlos mumbled, "You're awake ." Tk smiled "How do you feel do you need something water .. food are you hungry I can get the nurse or I can go get you something hospital food sucks are you still tired do you need more sleep ?" Tk said all in one breath " Babe." Carlos said forcing Tk to pause " I'm just concerned you died for a few seconds." Tk said

"But I'm here and I'm fine okay thanks to a very talented paramedic.." Carlos smiled "Shut up it's basic stuff ." Tk said, "You saved my life Tk you pretty talented to me ." Carlos said softly " I'm sorry for lying about where I was.." Carlos said softly holding tks hand "You were getting justice for your friend ." Tk said, "Just next time you decide to go rogue at least let someone know where you're going ." Tk said kissing Carlos's hand

"We're gonna be just fine ."
