Tk's first time on a plane since Gwen's death- Carlos takes a plane to their honeymoon destination
The anxiety didn't hit him until the night before their flight Carlos was setting the alarms for the morning while Tk finished packing their suitcase
"You okay babe ?" Carlos said with a little laugh reaching his hand out to stroke Tk's arm "Me yeah fine why -?" Tk said looking at Carlos
"Well you've reorganized the suitcase 5 times .." Carlos said "It just seems that you're a little anxious .." Carlos said, " are you sure we can't just drive ?" Tk blurted out "It's too late to cancel the flight Ty .." Carlos said, "Right - it's fine we'll be fine ." Tk mumbled "Yeah we'll be just fine .." Tk said zipping up the suitcase
"Just fine ." Tk said rolling the suitcase to the side Tk got into bed Carlos rubbed his back gently "We're gonna be fine okay ..?" Carlos said "Yeah I know that -" Tk smiled "You okay if I turn the lights off ?" Carlos said "We have to get up pretty early .." Carlos said, "Yeah yeah of course ." Tk smiled before kissing Carlos's lips "Love you ." Tk smiled "Love you, my love ." Carlos said brushing his cheek
Carlos turned off the lights before turning back to Spoon Tk they stayed like that for 5 minutes until Carlos came out and said " your tense .." Carlos hummed before turning the light back on " I'm just gonna double check that we have everything you don't want to get on and realize you forgot-." Tk said before Carlos cut him off " Tyler you've already double-checked multiple times ." Carlos said
"I know but -" Tk said, " what's bothering you ?" Carlos said softly "It's my first time on a plane since my mom died - and we all know how that plane ride ended ." Tk said looking at Carlos "Is that why you have been so anxious all night." Carlos asked Tk just nodded
"Baby- you could have told me ." Carlos said softly holding Tk's nose " I know I just - I didn't wanna be a burden .." Tk said softly "Listen to me you're never a burden okay ?" Carlos said softly "It's a two-hour flight and if you want you can hold my hand for the whole flight ." Carlos said, "We both know I was gonna do that anyways ." Tk smiled "Yeah you were.." Carlos smirked, "we're gonna be okay." Carlos smiled "Thank you.." Tk smiled "Anytime my little worry bug ." Carlos teased "Shut up ." Tk said
