They stayed there for what felt like forever -after Carlos kneeled on their couch taking both of tks hands in his "Your Tk and I'm Carlos and we're soul mates
He saw a small smile appear on tks face hearing the word soulmates but that quickly faded as his eyes filled with tears "I'm not going anywhere tk.." Carlos assured him " I'm right here ." Carlos said "No matter what baby ." before whispering l"Come here ." faintly Tk kneels on the couch soaking into Carlos's embrace
Carlos wrapped his arms around his waist as tks arms wrapped around his neck Tk sniffled as he buried his head into Carlos's neck
They stayed like that for a while just hugging one another "Baby hold on a second ." Carlos said gently sitting down on the couch "Come here you'll be more comfortable.." Carlos smiled softly
Tks head rested on Carlos's chest the stray tears falling from his eyes soaking Carlos's shirt
Carlos's hand made its way through tks hair "I love you I hope you know that okay ?" Carlos said he felt Tk nod as he traced little patterns on Carlos's leg
"You're probably uncomfortable you should get changed.." Tk said sitting up "You need me right now it can wait ." Carlos said, " ill be okay I promise.." Tk said Carlos kissed tks head gently "Will be back in a few okay ?" Carlos said "Yeah." Tk said biting his lip
When Carlos returned Tk was in the same spot as he left him "You've got two choices ." Carlos said gently "We can stay here and cuddle until you get sick of it or we can go in the bedroom and lay down and I can rub your back ." Carlos said, "Can we stay here ?" Tk said quietly "Of course ." Carlos said Carlos sat back down "Get up here ." Carlos smiled as Tk resumed his previous position Carlos pulled the throw blanket from the top of the couch pulling it over the both of them "You're comfy ?" Carlos asked Tk nodded slowly as he played with Carlos's shirt " I'm scared ." Tk mumbled not even looking up at Carlos "I am too baby but you know whatever the result we're gonna go through it together okay .." Carlos said "Yeah.." Tk sighed he didn't believe him but he didn't want Carlos to worry
"C'mon let's get you to be okay ?" Carlos said softly " I'm gonna stay up a little longer calm my mind some more .." Tk mumbled usually Tk was a sleepyhead when his shift allowed it he was usually in bed by 11 but it was almost 2 o'clock and his mind was still racing with all the what ifs that lingered " well I can stay if you want we could bake some of your mom's cookies that you like to make maybe help ease your mind .." Carlos said softly
"I'm okay thanks though .." Tk mumbled, " you should go get some sleep I'll be in in a little ." Tk mumbled, " I love you okay ?" Carlos said kissing Tk's head "Love you too." Tk said giving Carlos a small smile

"It appears that you have Huntington's disease ." The doctor said as Tk looked at his shaking hand
