Request / Carlos has a panic attack In the middle of the night DarrianMarks

After everything that had been happening surrounding his father's murder, Carlos tried to move on he married the love of his life they went in there honeymoon and when they came back he helped his mother move out of his childhood home

It was hard to say goodbye to the house - after all, he did grow up in that house all of his siblings did two a lot of memories had been made in the house but his mother couldn't live there even after getting the floorboards that were stained with blood switched out it was too much so everyone chipped in to help
His sisters and Tk all made a few days out of it so they could all be together and help Andrea

Andrea let Tk and Carlos sort through some of Gabriel's old stuff and sort into boxes "You okay ?" Tk said coming behind Carlos and rubbing his shoulders

"Yeah - just it's just weird you know ." Carlos sighed " I'm sorry baby ." Tk said rubbing Tk's back

The memories haunted him he couldn't believe how his sisters had all these memories he didn't even remember and he wished he did because no matter how many times his sisters tell him it doesn't seem real how could he not remember?

When Tk and Carlos got home later that night they showered together before cozying up in bed
"Thank you for coming with me and helping today ." Carlos said softly stroking Tk's hair "My mom really appreciated it and so did I she loves seeing her favorite son-in-law." Carlos said looking into Tk's eyes Tk smiled

Tk cuddled close to Carlos and eventually, they both fell asleep but when Carlos woke up he was shooting up in bed his shirt drenched in sweat

He struggled to catch his breath it was like someone had their hand around his lungs squeezing hard enough to where he could only get sips of air

He didn't even realize Tk was there until he felt a hand on his shoulder causing him to jump his breathing still racing "Hey.. shh your okay ." Tk said getting on his knees on the mattress

"Shh, your okay I'm here ." Tk said holding Carlos's hand " hey squeeze my hand you can do that ." Tk said, "Squeeze it as hard as you need I'm here ." Tk said Carlos squeezed Tk's hand closing his eyes

"There you go that's good now just breath ." Tk said rubbing Carlos's back " I've got you ." Tk said pulling Carlos to his chest Carlos relaxed under Tk's chest he focused on Tk's heartbeat and how it beat over and over Tk rubbed his ant up and down before placing small kisses into his curls

"I'm okay ." Carlos breathed out looking up at Tk "Just a bad dream ." Carlos said looking at Tk "Was it about your dad ?" Tk asked shyly

"Yeah. Can I ask you something?" Carlos said holding tks hand Tk nodded "How did you do it after your mom ?" Carlos asked he looked into tks eyes he could see them wander " I had you it took a while but I got through it ." Tk said softly

"Carlos look at me ." Tk said grabbing Carlos's attention "You may not remember so things about your dad and that's okay you were young.. Your dad remembers them and he loves you so much and he was so proud of you. Not to mention protective ." Tk said with a small laugh

Carlos raised his eyebrow he never considered his father protective "Did you know that until we got engaged your dad used to grill me every time we came over ." Tk said looking at Carlos

"No, he didn't," Carlos said with a small laugh
"Yes, he did every time he wanted to make sure I was treating you right ." Tk smiled

There was a knock on the door downstairs Tk got up to get it "No stay here I'll get it - probably some package or something ." Carlos said "When I get back we can go back to bed the sun was just starting to come up Tk didn't have a shift until 1 so they could get a few more hours but unfortunately their mail girl is early

Carlos opened the door to see a man standing "Say hello to your father for me ." the man said before pulling out a gun and taking the shot to Carlos's chest
