Their schedules had been crazy this past month Carlos couldn't remember when he saw Tk for more than 5 minutes when Carlos was leaving for his shift Tk was getting ready to come home from his

If they were lucky they saw one another for a quick few minutes on a call enough to exchange a quick kiss and "be safe" before they had to return to their jobs

But for the first time in what seemed like forever, Carlos woke up with Tk next to him sleeping peacefully with a soft snore very present Carlos couldn't help but smile the night before he checked with his parents if it would be okay for them to use the family ranch for the weekend just to get away from work and everything surrounding it as much as he loved there home  he wanted to be as far away from it as possible

So he snuck out of bed quietly and headed downstairs packing the car he threw the cooler in there which held some groceries he through Tk's favorite throw blanket in there along with other goodies when he returned upstairs Tk was sitting up in bed with his arms crossed " you know it's not very nice to leave your husband who you've barley seen all month in bed alone of our first day off together ." tk pouted Carlos couldn't help but laugh as he made his way back over the bed to kiss tk on the lips "I promise... 20 minutes later tk joined carlos downstairs in the living room " can i know where were going please ?" tk asked " youll see wen we get there ." carlos said " wait do i need to get my dad to watch buttercup ?" tk asked " no he's coming with us ." carlos smiled " your allowing him in your car are you okay do you have a fever ." tk said puttng his hand on tks forehead " he makes you happy and thats what this weekend is all about making you happy ." carlos smiled grabbing tks hand "now lets go ." carlos said

when they arrived carlos finnaly took off tks blindfold "okay open your eyes ." carlos smiled "where are we ?" tk asked looking around " my family ranch its our for the weekend ." carlos said " wait really ?" tk smiled " yep oh hold on theres something missing ." carlos said before heading to his trunk before tk knew it he had a black cowboy hat on " hey it matches your flannel now you look like a texan ." carlos smiled "ive been with you for almost 4 years im pretty sure i look texan ." tk teased before grabbing his hat "howdy partner ." tk said tipping his hat sticking his foot out

"please stop nobody does that ." carlos laughed " wait seriously ?" tk said follwoing carlos " what about giddy up!" tk said " oh my god ." caros laughed

later that day tk followed carlos out to the feild " your gonna ride pancake today ." carlos said " are you sure about this what if he throws me off ?" tk asks " then ill catch you ." carlos said "here just watch ill show you its not that hard ." carlos said hopping up on pancake he rode around the arena once tk watched but all he could really focus on was carlos's ass

"alright your turn ." carlos said hoppping off "need some help getting up there ?" carlos asked " i got it ." tk said confidnelty trying to reach his foot on the step up " i dont got it .." tk said looking back at carlos carlos couldnt help but laugh with some assistance tk properly made it up on the horse " you better not fall me and and nancy made 20$ bet ." carlos teased "relax i got this ." tk assured carlos sure enough tk did fall and carlos did not catch him -
