John Constantine sat on the floor, his legs crossed, and exhaled with a sense of ease. He glanced over at Wednesday, who mirrored his posture, and she nonchalantly shrugged.
"It's not difficult to deceive those who are already broken," Wednesday responded, a smug satisfaction evident in her voice. "Their hearts are easily manipulated because they are driven by basic needs desires."

Morticia couldn't help but smile at her daughter's smugness. Witnessing Wednesday's growth and the development of her abilities reminded Morticia of herself, like a mirror reflecting their shared traits.
"But still, pulling off an advanced technique like that... impressive, I have to admit," John complimented as he retrieved a cigarette and began lighting it, taking in the puffs of smoke.
Coming from someone like John Constantine, a member of the renowned Constantine family, Wednesday took his praise with a playful jab. "Yeah, I'll take it, although I'd love to hear it from a Van Helsing," she retorted.
"Yeah, yeah," John grumbled, inhaling another drag from his cigarette. After exhaling the smoke, he looked down at Lilith's motionless body on the floor, still clad in the clothes she arrived in.
"Are you both ready?" he asked, and they both nodded in response.
"Let's do this," John declared, taking another long drag before stubbing out the cigarette. He cracked his knuckles and glanced over at Wednesday.
"Release the hold."
For context, Wednesday had entered the room in search of John Constantine. She had engaged in a conversation with him about Lilith, seeking answers regarding the Crotez family and their possible connection to the recent demon encounter. Initially skeptical, John eventually agreed to a plan devised by both of them.
Wednesday used her powers of dream-walking to enter Lilith's mind, creating an elaborate scenario where Lilith believed she had awakened. In this scenario, Lilith found herself in the presence of John, thinking she was in control as she believed she was infecting him with her pheromones. However, it was all Wednesday's manipulation, eventually exploiting Lilith's sexual desires to gain an advantage.
