Enid's eyes widened in disbelief as a large humanoid creature emerged—a hunched figure with leathery brown skin that appeared smokeless. It stalked through the water, its snout resembling a dog's, sharp canines peeking through rows of menacing teeth. The creature's piercing eyes sent shivers down Enid's spine, prompting her to take a hesitant step back.
