After class ended I went looking for Carmen to tell her my new plan, I have come to the conclusion that we cannot escape Voldemort's orders but we can however trick him into thinking that we are inlove while only pretending to do just so, It doesn't have to be real at all , we would keep this act for a while until we come up with another solution, who knows maybe this could flourish rather well.

I looked everywhere for her; the library, the common room, the dorms, then It hit me

I looked everywhere except the courtyard, so with the thought of that in mind I adjusted my bookbag and headed towards It.

The weather was cold as the first week of February made an appearance freezing my fingertips in the process, with the cold crisp air hitting me like a blow I realized my mistakes of wearing thin materials,

I spotted them within a few seconds, they were talking, and what drew me more into the conversation were the tears that glistened Carmen's cheeks, she stood four feet away from barty, both hands covering her face as she seemed to be apologizing constantly but then what came to my vision seemed to surprise me;

Barty reached out and cupped her cheeks looking deeply into her eyes,

Are they going to kiss?

What I had seen was enough, I quickly backed away with these new information in my mind and suddenly everything made sense, ofcourse she was devastated on hearing Voldemort's words, she was inlove with another person and here I thought It wouldn't be so bad to try this with her,

"Hey Regulus" came a wobbly voice from behind be which only belonged to Emmaline Crain interrupting my thoughts in the process.

Emmaline was a first year Hufflepuff who had an enormous obsession with me, she made sure to remember everyclass I took just to bug me or follow me around everywhere trying to strike a conversation.

"Emmaline" I nodded trying to be as polite as possible though I couldn't control the annoyed expression that rose onto my face

"Oh just Emma" she giggled and I wondered what was the use of ears anymore

"I'm really busy so-"

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" She bursted with big hopeful eyes

Oh no

"I'm kind of, erm, occupied" merlin, someone come save me already

She looked at me questionably as if she didn't understand

That little devil

"I have a girlfriend" If anyone told me I would be saying that two weeks ago i would be baffled ,but sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands

"You are?" She looked like she might cry and then her eyes dropped angrily "who is she!"

Should I-

"Would it matter?" I asked unsure and somewhat bored

She nodded which only encouraged me more, time to hurt this little girl feelings'

"Listen, emmaline I don't care about you, I never did and I never will so why don't you go bug someone else"

She looked completely shocked like she didn't believe those words coming out of my mouth, and frankly I didn't too, but it was time to express my strong feelings for her as she finally ran away like the little kid she was.

I won't start making assumptions or precautions anymore, but If she doesn't want to deal with this she'll have to come up with a way to because I'm not disobeying the dark lord for nothing and certainly not for her.
