With one encouraging smile from barty and a last look in the mirror Carmen felt excited.

Partly because it was her first date ever, and because she looked pretty, she really did.

Now Carmen wasn't the type of girl who admired herself much when it came to her looks and body but the way this black dress hugged her body made her feel amazing.

Somewhat between getting ready and putting on heels Evan came in asking for the potions homework but as soon as he saw the dolled up girl he completely forgot.

"Ohhh, looks like someone has a date" Evan whistled

"That obvious?" The girl grimaced

And the two boys nodded with a laugh.

"I feel like this is abit much" Carmen said suddenly feeling anxious.

"There's no such thing as too much" Evan said with narrowed eyes and barty nodded in agreement.

"Fashion obsessed" she scoffed

"Horrible dress owner" the boy shot back

"No, not this again" she mentally face palmed "it was not by choice"

"Yet you still wore it" Evan pressed "kinda surprised people didn't think you were a bird from all those feathers"

"Okay relax you two" barty exclaimed rolling his eyes at his friends who acted like children every two minutes.

"Even though you don't deserve my advice, I would add eyeliner under eyes and more jelewry" Rosier recommend and Carmen who was as anxious as ever ofcourse let him do whatever he wants so with that Evan grabbed the black liner which highlighted her eyes beautifully before adding taking over her jewelry box choosing every piece with such focus.

"Woah, that really did change the whole vibe" barty observed and the girl nodded in agreement smiling at Evan as a 'thank you'

"Now go! You're going to be late" he added

"Fashionably late" Evan noted

The girl quickly grabbed her purse then flew out of her dorm room hoping she didn't make the boy wait too long.

Much to her dismay she ran into the last person she wanted to see right now.

Regulus fucking black

"Watch it" he hissed before noticing who he bumbed into but when he did; his breath hitched

'She looked beautiful' Regulus though

Carmen felt herself getting red under Regulus' heavy gaze as his eyes trailed her whole body focusing on his eyes.

She mastered the meanest attitude and said "Are you going to move or what?"

Regulus's head snapped from its daze narrowing his eyes at the girl "And where do you think you're going?" He asked raising his brows expectantly

"None of your business" she scoffed but when he kept blocking her way refusing to move Carmen had no solution but to tell him, so she thought 'why not rubbing it in his obnoxious face?'

"Some of us actually have dates Regulus, not sure if you know what that means though" yeah she felt really proud of herself at that moment that she almost smirked.

"oh,That boy who was waiting for you by the dungeons? Yeah I sent him off" this time Regulus was the one smirking as the girl infront of him was shocked beyond belief

"you- what?" Carmen furrowed her brows in confusion, she felt as if she would explode from anger.

"I lied to him, shooed him away, told him to fuck off, m-" Regulus was cut off by the strong shove from carmen who seemed in a bad temper.

She hurried to her feet leaving the common room to check whether it was true or not, and it it was she promised herself to kill him after.

Much to her surprise the golden haired boy was still waiting by the entrance with flowers in his hands.

"Lucas!" She breathed in relief finally feeling all her nerves calm down.

"there you are! I've been waiting for ages" the boy replied in a faint laugh

"I'm sorry, there's this annoying person who thought it was funny to tell me that you already left" she said shifting her eyes to glare at Regulus who was leaning against the wall in a teasing manner

"Oh yeah, someone told me that you were cancelling the date too, but it was too suspicious to believe" lucas admitted

"That bastard!" Carmen said feeling her anger rising again but when she turned to look at the smirking boy he wasn't there, he just simply....disappeared.

"Who?" Lucas asked confused but Carmen quickly shushed him muttering "no one"

And so they went on with their date.

Regulus paced around the dark common room with a huff, he couldn't believe his plan didn't work.

He felt as if someone slapped him across the face, he was sure he would be sick in afew moments.

His lips were pouted in an angry look as he sat twirling his wand between his fingers while he glowered to the innocent wall.

Regulus scoffed to himself, looks like she doesn't reject everyone like I thought.

He felt the strong urge to do something about it, there was no way he was spending the weekend worrying about some girl, so with that he hastily grabbed his coat and exited the common room in hopes to find somewhere to wander off to.
