"Are you saying you actually caught feelings?" After drowning Barty with all the details like a heavy downfall he couldn't help but stay confused

"I didn't say that-"

"But you meant to" he raised his eyebrows suggestively and I quickly hit his shoulder

"You know one of these days I'm going to stop being your best friend and you're gonna regret all that hitting and punching"

I slowly shook my head in denial

"Oh and why is that missy?"

"You love me way too much for that" I smiled at his annoyed expression

"That I do" he sighed then proceeded to mess my bangs with a bubbly laugh "ok but, back to our original topic"

"Ugh, no" I groaned trying to leave but barty was quick to pull me down

"Ugh, yes" he mocked me

"You know sometimes I hate you"

"No, you don't" he smiled mischievously and I couldn't help but explain everything, again

"I told you a million times barty, we just kissed!" I huffed

"Oh, but it's not just a kiss, its your second kiss" barty stated and I could feel my cheeks redden at the realization.

There's no way I kissed Regulus black, Twice, The Regulus black, the heir to the black family and the closest follower to the dark lord.

"Are you there?" Barty's hand waved infront of my eyes to capture my attention, but it was deeply lost in thoughts and fantasies.

"She's gone" I could hear him mutter

The library was awfully quiet as all students had just gone back to school and were mostly tired.

I settled in a far corner lifting my potions book higher to meet my eyesight, but the task was undeniably hard because the words were all slurring together and fading into the memory of him.

I recalled what happened there days ago and went numb.

It was time to accept what happened, everything that just happened wasn't my fault. The only mistake I made was to kiss him back.

In such short time all this confusing feelings I had for him and all the mixed signals in my mind turned into one thing: Anger.

How dare he disrespect me like that? How dare he kiss me then deny it in a second? Who did he think he was? To kiss me is a big mistake but to disrespect me is an even bigger one and I was going to show him just that.

"private study session, or can I join?"

My head snapped up at the direction of that voice until a random boy came into my vision

He was tall, so tall that he was practically hovering over me. His hair was neatly trimmed which presented the focus on his beautiful brown eyes that were practically beaming at me

"Sure" I said watching as he sat down putting his books on display.

While the boy seemed polite and fairly nice I didn't appreciate his company as I needed some time alone. I started realizing that I have a problem with saying no.

"I'm Lucas by the way, Lucas Rowl" he extended his hand which I quickly shook already wanting this to be over.

"I'm Carmen" I simply said and he nodded smiling slightly "pleasure meeting you carmen, I hope I didn't interrupt you earlier, I just needed an escape from this particular devil over there" he nodded towards a blonde girl who shot angry looks of jealousy at me

I sent an apologetic smile her way in which she returned with a sneer and a disgusted expression before strutting away.

"Well, she seems like the type to escape from" I rolled my eyes at her ridiculous attitude and that seemed to amuse the boy infront of me

"You're telling me" he huffed out a laugh "she's been at my heel this entire morning talking non stop about how a great couple we would make,and I don't even know her"

"Shameless" I retorted and he quickly agreed muttering something about her being delusional.

"So the only way to escape was to say that I had a girlfriend that would be very mad if she finds out, which is obviously a lie" he explained

"No way, how did she react?"

"She asked for prove, and when I couldn't find anyone I simply just pointed at you"

"wow that's wei- WHAT?" My mouth opened on its own accord leaving me speechless

"uh-"

"Why would you tell her that? I don't even know you" I asked confused

"Now you do" the boy's face morphed into a smirk and I had a strange feeling that this wasn't just a simple encounter.

Uhhh, I don't know what to feel about this but stay tuned many things are coming and I'm actually excited to write the next few chapters, why you may ask? Hot main characters ofc, duh!
