<Carmen>

The train station buzzed with people, mostly shouting as there seemed to be a misunderstanding between two passengers.

The whole scenery filled me with an undeniable deja-vu, reminding me of my first time here.

It's astonishing how things have changed, I walked into this train hopeless and empty minded, the only thought I had was to anger my dear mother, but now? It's completely different.

Now, I'm one year older, supposedly engaged to the Black family's heir, and one of the dark lord's follower. It surprises me how I've included myself in this friend-group, we're mostly all fucked up, we all hate our parents with a passion and we all wish we could disappear.

The only difference was; I still wanted to live, I couldn't imagine my life ending this fast, where nothing ever happened, where I didn't achieve anything. I can't comprehend the idea of being at someone's mercy, even if that someone was the evilest person on earth.

Regulus noticed my dazed-off state and gently squeezed my hand for support.

"Are you alright?" He leaned down to whisper in my ear, but the thought of him being this close blocked out my ability to speak.

I cleared my throat, trying to stay awake, "Just tired, that's all"

Regulus' smile deepened with adoration dancing behind his eyes, "You can sleep on my shoulder if you want."

I fought a cheesy smile, "I'll think about it"

The train ride was rather silent, which annoyed a certain person.

"I'm bored" huffed Barty, as always.

"Sounds like a you problem" muttered Evan, not looking up from his fashion magazine.

I lifted my head up from Regulus' lap, after he insisted that I use his lap as a makeshift pillow, "He's kind of right"

Barty gasped in betrayel, "Carmen! You're supposed to back me up" he then proceeded to scoff and mutter in annoyance.

Regulus smiled at his childish behavior, "Well, if I were her I wouldn't too, so-"

"Fine, shut up" Barty cut him off with yet another huff.

"It's not his problem for being the fun one of this depressed group" I said, in which barty quite appreciated, "Finally!" He started, "I was beginning to think you hate me"

I rolled my eyes at his dramatics, but truth be told; he was infact the most fun-loving person on earth, even if it meant causing trouble.

"I could never" I laughed at the thought, the moment I hate barty will be the moment I lose my mind.

I must have fallen asleep, because when I woke up It was dark outside.

The compartment around me was empty of Evan, Barty and Regulus, which made me wonder where they went.

I tried to look around me, but my neck pulsed with pain from the weird angle I had been sleeping in.

Suddenly, the train stopped in aloud thud and before I could even question the darkness, in which was my surrounding; an ear-piercing scream filled the air, one that belonged to someone I knew all too well.
