60. Betrayal

One night Sebastian and his boyfriend (Jake) along with Oliver and same other friends went to a bar. Sebastian and his boyfriend decided to sit at another side.

Sebastian after a while excuses himself to go to the bathroom when Oliver decided to check on them. Oliver saw Sebastian wasn't there but Jake was on a call at first he didn't wanted to hear the conversation but then he heard Sebastian's name in the middle of the conversation.

Jake: (Speaking in hushed tones) Yeah, I've been hanging out with Seb a lot lately. He's a fun guy, but I don't really see a future with him, you know?

Unknown Voice: So, you're just using him?

Jake: (Chuckles) Yeah, pretty much. He's into me, and it's been convenient. But it's not like I'm in love or anything. Just having some fun.

Unknown Voice: Make sure he doesn't get too attached then. We don't need any drama.

As soon as Oliver heard this he stood in front of Jake with angry.

Oliver: (Seething) What the hell is going on, Jake?

Jake: (Sighs) Look, Oliver, let's not make a scene.

Oliver: (Frustrated) I trusted you with my brother. How could you do this to him?

Jake: (Casually) Chill out, man. It's not like we were exclusive or anything. Seb knew what he was getting into.

Oliver: (Angry) Are you serious? You've been leading him on, using him for your own pleasure?

Jake: (Shrugs) It's not like he's the only one who's into it. We were both having a good time.

Oliver: (Voice raised) You heartless... Seb's not some toy for you to play with and discard when you're done!

Oliver was so mad that he started to fight with Jake.

Sebastian returned from the bathroom and his heart sank as he witnessed the heated argument between his older brother Oliver and his boyfriend Jake. The loud voices and tension in the air left him stunned. "Guys, stop!" Sebastian cried out, rushing forward to intervene and put an end to the escalating fight.

Oliver's eyes met Sebastian's, desperation and regret evident in his expression. "Seb, please, let me explain," Oliver pleaded, his voice quivering.

Sebastian's eyes welled up with tears, hurt evident in his gaze. "Explain what? Why would Jake be talking about me like that?" he questioned, his voice shaky.

Jake, on the other hand, maintained a composed demeanor, a nonchalant smirk playing on his lips. "Seb, it's not what you think," he said, his tone almost patronizing.

Oliver's frustration grew, his fists clenched as he took a step forward. "Seb, he's lying to you! He doesn't really care about you," Oliver retorted, his words dripping with anger.

Oliver attempted to explain, but Jake manipulated the situation, accusing Oliver of lying. To Oliver's astonishment, Sebastian took Jake's side, refusing to listen to his brother.

Hurt and betrayed, Oliver struggled to make Sebastian see the truth. However, Jake's cunning lies continued to blind Sebastian.

Devastated by the turn of events, Sebastian walked out of the bar with Jake by his side. His heart was heavy with confusion and hurt.

Sebastian: (voice trembling) "Jake, I just... I can't believe this. What Oliver said... it's hard for me to accept."

Jake: (feigning concern) "Seb, I know this is tough to hear, but you have to trust me. Oliver's just trying to manipulate you. He's been lying to you."
