Back at the dorm, everyone was happily eating breakfast, glad at the fact that their hellish march was over with. Grim, of course, was no exception, since he was stuffing his face with food while everyone only eats as well, at least enjoying the break they have with their training so to speak. Grim happily chews while Angel, Kalim, and Jamil follow suit, taking their time. "I know we gotta stage a prison break as soon as possible, but man..." Grim says to Angel between bites as he happily chews his food. "As much as I hate to admit it, this food is to die for. Or, well, to be Grim-napped for." He continues eating.

Kalim only looks at him in confusion. "I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I'm glad you like the food. Have some more!" He happily says he gets some cheese and crackers, a familiar sight for Angel as he starts spreading the cheese on the cracker. "Try this blue cheese made from cow's milk for starters. It's great on a cracker. Here!" He says as holds the cracker out for him.

Grim flinches at the sight. "Uh, nah, I'm good on crackers..."

"Please, no need to stand on ceremony! Ah hah hah!" He stuffs the cracker in Grim's mouth.

"Mrrrph?!" Grim struggles to exclaim, trying to chew, or rather spit out, the cracker. "Mrrph!"

Angel only giggles at the sight, seeing that Grim refusing food so profusely even though it was just a simple cracker. Jamil only sighs at Kalim's actions. "Kalim, don't stuff Grim's mouth so full of food. You'll make him choke," he scolds.

Kalim looks at Grim, seeing that his mouth was full, seeing in trying to chew. "Oh, sorry!" He apologizes. "Please, take your time. There's plenty more where this came from."

Grim chews and swallow the crackers, releasing a sigh in relief. "I think you're missin' the point, pal..."

"We've still got ice cream left over from yesterday," Kalim adds. "I always like to set out lots of different flavors, and then take a big spoon and scoop out however much sounds good of each one."

"Y-yeah?" Grim asks in confusion. "you got a whole system for that?"

"Sure do! No matter how full you are, there's always room for dessert, right? Hold on, I'll go fetch you some," Kalim says as he stands up.

"Kalim, wait!" Jamil speaks. "I'll get it. You stay seated."

"I don't mind, really!" Kalim says. "All you have to do is get it out of the freezer, right?"

"You don't work as a servant, Kalim," Jamil says as he puts his hands on his hips. "At least TRY to remember that you're the heir to the Asim family. If word got out that I allowed you to do this, my parents would never let me hear the end of it." He sighs.

"Um...wouldn't it be good to let him do some things?" Angel quietly speaks, getting the two's attention. "I mean, being dependent on servants must be a hassle, so it's a chance to give you a break, Jamil."

Jamil looks at her. "The purpose of the servants in the Asim family is to serve them with our life. Kalim is the heir, so it is no exception I serve him to the best of my abilities."

"Isn't that a but much?" She asks. "You don't have to serve him while we're at the school. There's no one to tell you that you can't serve Kalim. What's stopping you from not letting him do things on his own?"

"Angel's right. You're too serious about servitude, Jamil," Kalim assures him. "We're just classmates here at Night Raven College. Can't we act like it?"

Jamil look at the two and sighs. "Fine," he says defeatedly and the two only smile at his decision. "Just let me handle the actual scooping. Would you help me carry it out to everyone?" He asks Kalim.

"Easily done!" Kalim happily says. While they were talking, they missed Grim looking at the table, moving things around. Kalim noticed. "Hm? What is it?" He asks.

The question makes Grim jump in surprise. "What's what? Nothin' to see over here," he quickly says.

"Okay. Hold on, I'll be right back with dessert!" Kalim happily says as he and Jamil head off to get ice cream.

The two only look at their retreating figures. "...Y'know, I'm really startin' to get baffled here," Grim says as he crosses his paws. "The way Kalim was talkin' just now, he wasn't exactly respectin' others' points, but he meant well enough."

Angel looked at where the two left and thought about it. He did try to dismiss the fact that Jamil shouldn't have to serve him, and he was right. Though she didn't know anything about how wealthy people or royalty is treated, but the fact that Jamil shut Kalim down for any opportunity to do anything on his own is a bit extreme, even if it's something as simple as scooping. Why was he so adamant about serving him, even without the surveillance of his family? "Hey, Grim..." Angel starts. "I feel like something bad might happen, but I can't put my finger on it."

"Huh?" Grim looks at her, and realization hit. "You mean..."

Angel nods. "But the weird thing is...I can't really see anything wrong with it. I don't know..."

Grim thinks for a moment. "If that's the case, then we need to get outta here as soon as possible..." He mumbles, making her confused.

Soon enough, the two heard the sound of footsteps, seeing that Kalim was looking at the students with a glare. "Well?" He says coldly to the students, a shiver running down their spine as they look at him. "How long are you going to sit around eating? Do you fancy yourselves royalty?!"

The outburst surprises everyone. "Whaa?!"

"Get these dishes washed and put away, on the double!" Kalim commands. "And get ready for afternoon training!"

"Y-yes, sir!" The Scarabia students respond, rushing to appease their housewarden.

"Erk We're back to scary Kalim again," Grim whines.

Kalim looks at the two, both flinching at the look. "Angel, you and Grim aren't getting out of this. We'll be doing defense magic training until evening. To the courtyard!" he commands, and the students follow, becoming dispirited as they head to the courtyard.

"T-this is going way beyond mood swings!" Angel exclaims in shock, mostly at the training part. "Does he have multiple personalities?!"

"I dunno know but I don't wanna train!" Grim whines as they follow the students to the courtyard, dreading training.
