While the eight were talking, Vil looked at his phone, still ringing. Once he got a good distance away from them, he answered the phone. "Hello, Adela," he says.

"Hi, Vil!" A woman happily says on the phone. "Got a few?"

"I told you I was going to be occupied with the SDC for a while. Please make it quick," he says.

"This is big!" She announces. "You just got an offer for a movie role. It's a sequel to Legendary Sword! You know, the mega-hit title with box office revenue topping two hundred million thaumarks?"

The news shocks him. "Really? Yes, I know Legendary Sword!" He happily says. "I caught the original in theaters. What role would I be playing?" He curiously asks, happy about the opportunity.

"You'd be the protagonist's rival- a prince of an enemy kingdom," she says. "He's ruthless, but also the most glamourous character in the movie. He goes out in spectacular, villainous fashion. You were born to play this guy, Vil!"

"Hold on," Vil says. "It's another pretty villain role?" He asks. "I believe I told you to turn down offers that would typecast me as such."

"Look, this is a huge title. I wasn't going to tell them no without checking with you first."

He sighs. "I suppose if they're nominating me without an audition, then they also have a lead actor already picked out? I might consider it, depending on the casting."

"The hero of the story, the one who inherits the legendary sword..." she hesitates. "Is played by Neige LeBlanche."

Vil stiffens at the news. "...Neige?" He asks with a glare. "AGAIN?"

"I know, I know. But think of this as your chance to advance to the next level," she explains. "They're offering three million thaumarks. That's a huge amount of money for a teen actor. And I could negotiate for even more."

"You cannot buy my feelings with money," Vil says in annoyance. "I don't care how much I'd make-when I don't want a role, I don't take it. All I want...is to stay on stage until the end of the show."

"Vil..."

"I need to focus my full attention on the SDC right now regardless. Turn this offer down."

"I know you care a lot about your school life. But please, if you could reconsider..."

"ENOUGH!" He yells. "I don't want any more calls from you until the SDC is over!" He hangs up the phone. He sighs, trying to compose himself before joining the others, seeing that they looking at him, obviously hearing his outburst a while ago.

"Is everything okay?" Kalim asks. "I hope that wasn't bad news."

"Oh, nothing so dire," he brushes off. "Now, it's time to start our rehearsal."

Rook watches Vil as he heads to Angel, talking to her about something and then walks over, getting ready for rehearsal with the others. "..." For Angel, she felt a sharp pain in her head, intensity growing as she looks around, looking for the source. She noticed Vil having a look of annoyance on his face, probably from the heated conversation earlier and started to see a faint mist surrounding, feeling the hairs on her neck stand up as she remembered that familiar mist before. She noticed how Vil was too focused on his preparations that two people were watching him, both out of concern.
