"Well you mean so much to me" Troye spoke. Upon realizing what he just said, Troye shoveled some ice cream in his mouth to avoid the awkward situation. Connor's cheeks turned a shade of crimson, but he decided to not bring anything up for the sake of Troye.

"So how's the song coming along, Troye?" Connor asked, motioning away from what Troye just said.

"Oh it's coming along really well. Alfie really likes what you came up with" Troye chuckled "So what's new with you?"

"Well with all the flexible hours I'm working, I think I'm going to be able to sign up for the swimming team!" Connor exclaimed. He had always had a passion for swimming, but never did anything about it. He was planning on signing up the previous year, but never had the time due to work. Swimming has always been a stress reliever to Connor, it always seems to help him, no matter the situation.

"You swim?" Troye asked, doing his famous eyebrow raise.

"Yeah, I love swimming. It makes me happy" Connor smiled, stirring hi ice cream in the bowl.

"Well good! I'm glad you found time to do something that makes you happy."

"A lot of things make me happy to be honest, and ever since I got that job I've had loads of time to do things that make me happy!" Troye could help but admire Connor as he talked so passionately about his interest. " I get to work in a record label, I can take swimming, I'm making a lot of money, and I get to spend more time with you" If he could, Connor could go on and on talking about the stuff he loves, but he decided to turn the conversation off of him – he doesn't like the attention. "What about you? What makes you happy?"

"A lot of things, actually. Music, my fans, art, acting, you, and just loads of other things." Troye replied, letting his mouth run for himself. After Troye realized what he said, he mentally slapped himself. This was the second time he's slipped up and said something like that tonight, and Troye couldn't help but wonder:

What does this mean?

Of course, Connor let it slide the first time – so he wasn't going to let it slide again.

"I make you happy?"

"er- I mean yeah?" Troye stuttered out, cheeks turning a shade of crimson. "Like, you know – we're friends and stuff and yeah" he sighed, hoping he didn't create a fool out of himself. Connor just chuckled.

"I get it, Troye Boy" he paused, taking a moment to stop laughing. "But you make me happy too."

"Okay, now let's work on your acoustic version of Happy Little Pill" Alfie spoke into the microphone, allowing Troye to hear him in the booth.

"Alright, sounds good" once Troye gave him the thumbs up, Alfie started the back track of a Acoustic guitar and piano playing to the tune of Troye's hit single, Happy Little Pill.

As Connor was walking past the studio Troye was recording in to give paperwork to Tanya, he couldn't help but notice how amazing Troye's voice actually was. It sounded like to voice of an angel if anything.

Unknown, unknown

Connor hummed along to the well-known tune of the song, enjoying the slower and more intimate version. After hearing a couple more lines of the song, Connor decided to gte back to work with the sound of Troye's voice stuck in his head.

"Glazed eyes, empty hearts, buying happy from shopping carts" He quietly sung to himself whilst turning the corner towards where Tanya was located. "Nothing but time to kill" he continued.

'Ah! Mr. Franta! Thank you!" Tanya called out, hurriedly walking towards Connor to retrieve the papers from his hands. "This a great help, really." She smiled, turning on her heels and walking back to the office she was in.

"My happy little pill, take me away" Connor skipped some of the chorus to get to his favorite part of the song, still singing it under his breath. He decided he wanted to head back to the studio Troye was recording at so he could get a better listen. Upon arrival, he hesitated to open the door and walk in – so he settled on sitting outside of the studio to listen.

"Troye sure does have a lovely voice, doesn't he?" A familiar female voice questioned, startling Connor and making him yelp.

"yeah, he really does, Zoe" Connor laughed, trying to catch his breath from being scared shitless by Zoe.

"Come in the studio, was heading in there anyways to see Alfie" She gestured towards the door, telling Connor that it was alright to go in.

"Oh okay" He stuttered, walking towards the door and opening it up for Zoe "L-ladies f-first" Connor stuttered, his nerves taking over. She gave Connor a smile before walking in and greeting the very man she came here to see.

"..See you too" Connor heard the end of Alfies sentence and he walked in. "Oh and you brought a visitor?"

"yeah, this is Connor. He's Troye's friend!" Zoe shot Connor a quick smile before turning back to Alfie.

"Oh? The boy you're saying Troye always talks about, yeah?" Connor just blushed at Alfies statement before nodding slightly.

"t-that's wha-what I heard" He stuttered out. After all, talking to new people just wasn't his thing.

"I don't get it" Zoe says, a bit confused. "Troye says you're the most talkative person ever, yet you're stuttering when you talk to us?"

"Troye h-has that eff-effect on me, I guess?" Connor nervously chuckled, breaking eye contact with Zoe and focusing on Troye in the booth. "so wh-when's his break?" Connor managed to speak after a few moments of silence.

"Well, Zoe came so we could go out to lunch, so anytime now. I think he just wants to get through this song – which is almost over" Connor just nodded and focused his attention back on the singing heart-throb in the booth.

After running through the song once more, Troye decided he was hungry. He hadn't noticed Connor yet, since he was so focused on his music – so once Troye came out of the booth to see Connor, there was a pleasant smile on his face.

"Con? How long have you been sitting here?" Troye walked out of the booth and over to Connor – giving him a quick friendly hug.

"I came in here about 10 minutes ago, why?" He asked, pulling away

"If I knew you were here, I would've stopped earlier. I'm sorry." The two boys walked out of the studio and down the hall in silence, none of them wanting to say anything because they didn't know what to say.

After several minutes; it was Connor who finally broke. "So Zoe says you talk about me a lot" Connor chimes in, raising his eyebrows at his friend. Troye was silent, making Connor worried that he had said something wrong. But that was just the opposite.

"Well" Troye started saying, pausing in both his words and his steps so he could face Connor. "I like to talk about things that make me happy. Things that mean a lot to me. And like I've said before – you mean a lot to me and you make me so fucking happy, Connor"
