Chapter 33: Together

When what Choi Taeyeon and Lee Doyun did to Jungkook hit the news, Taehyung's coach chuckled at the breakfast table. "Kim Taehyung, you do seem to keep churning out news articles."

"Is it about my ex-husband and twin?" Taehyung asks as he takes a bite from his smoked salmon.

"It is. You had some shitty people in your life." The coach hums and sets his phone down.

"Tell me about it." Taehyung scoffs and shakes his head before feeding Jungkook a bite of his salmon.

"You should write a book. It'll be entertaining." Hyuk suggests with a grin.

"Then I'd have to remember those shitty years. That sounds horrid." Taehyung frowns as he thinks of the years he and Jungkook were separated.

"True. I didn't think about that." Hyuk hums and nods in understanding.

"Hopefully, this will be the end of all of the drama and trauma." Taehyung sighs as he gently places his hand on Jungkook's thigh.

"Jin hyung and Yoongi hyung are taking care of everything. Don't worry." Jungkook softly tells his worried boyfriend.

"Because if they don't, I will rip Taeyeon's hair from her stupid head," Taehyung growls with a scowl.

"Everything will be okay. Since we gave the okay, our hyungs have been on a war path. Jin hyung even released that he has been fighting to survive a deadly heart disease while Taeyeon has been pulling her shit. Even her husband's company's stocks are plummeting. His company is releasing press statements that they did not know about what she had done, but no one is buying it. To save his company and political status, I am sure that Taeyeon's husband will be handing her divorce papers soon." Jungkook explains while Taehyung sighs and relaxes.

"Good. She hurt my Koo. She deserves to rot." Taehyung scowls as he stabs his chopsticks into his salmon.

"What kind of person does this to someone they grew up with?" Camila gasps as she reads the news articles. 

"My twin." Taehyung scoffs and angrily takes a bite of his blueberry muffin.

"It's like you were born with all of the kindness, and she was born with all of the cruelty. Like literally no one knew you had gone to visit racer McAllen until he publicly thanked you for comforting his family while he was in a coma." Camilla exclaims as she continues to read the articles.

"Well, I am glad we got the nice twin." William chuckles and watches as Taehyung angrily munches on his muffin.

"Plus, Taehyung is also the prettier twin." Hyuk points out, causing Taehyung to choke on his muffin.

"Hyung is ... much prettier twin!" Jungkook chirps in English with a big smile.

"Sunbae really did steal all of the good genetics. I'd be a salty twin, too." Camilla giggles while Taehyung bashfully blushes. "Oh my gosh! The prosecutor's office in Seoul just announced they are going to open an official investigation into Choi Taeyeon!" Camilla gasps in surprise.

"And just as Jungkook predicted, Choi Taeyeon's husband filed for divorce the moment the court opened this morning." Hyuk chuckles and shows everyone at the table the news.

"Uhm, Hyuk, not all of us can read that." The coach softly laughs.

"Oh, right." Hyuk laughs and translates the article.

"What about the kids?" Taehyung mutters as he worries about his niece and nephew.

"Jin hyung will never let them get hurt. You know that." Jungkook softly tells his worried boyfriend.
