Title: Frozen Embers

Chapter 1: A Chilling Encounter

Loki sat in his chair at the TVA, his mind still reeling from the mission in the Arctic. His body was numb, and his clothes were disheveled, evidence of the intense battle he had just endured. Blood trickled down from a cut above his left eyebrow, a reminder of the rogue variant he had apprehended.

Morbius, his friend and confidant, returned from his own mission, concern etched on his face. Silvy, always mischievous, followed closely behind. Loki's signature smile graced his lips as he greeted them, but his eyes betrayed his exhaustion.

"What happened to you, Loki?" Mobius asked, genuine worry in his voice.

Loki's smile widened, masking his discomfort. "Mission in the Arctic, a rogue variant. I caught him, but..." He gestured to his disheveled appearance, unable to find the words to express his weariness.

Morbius, ever perceptive, remained concerned. As Loki's anger flickered in his magical green eyes, Morbius stepped closer, disregarding Loki's question. "What are you doing?" Loki asked, his voice laced with confusion.

"Giving you a hug," Morbius replied simply, wrapping his arms around Loki. He rubbed a hand on Loki's back, trying to warm him. "You look like an icicle, Lokes."

Silvy, always one to seize an opportunity, slipped the dagger out of Loki's hand and perched herself on Morbius's desk, casually polishing the blade. Loki was left speechless, caught in the warmth of Morbius's embrace.

Morbius pulled away, taking Loki's cold hands in his own and rubbing them gently. "Let's get you some hot cocoa," he suggested, concern evident in his voice. Silvy, ever the opportunist, chimed in, "Can't miss that." She deftly slipped the dagger into her pocket, ready to join them.

As they made their way towards the exit, Morbius noticed the cut on Loki's face. Without hesitation, he wiped away the blood, his touch gentle and comforting. "What happened?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

"He got a lucky hit in," Loki replied, his hand instinctively reaching up to touch the cut, his self-consciousness evident.

Morbius removed Loki's hand, gently pushing his hair back. "You're safe now," he reassured, his touch lingering for a moment longer than necessary. The unspoken tension between them hung in the air, frozen embers waiting to ignite.

Chapter 2: A Dance of Shadows

The TVA buzzed with activity as Loki and Morbius continued their work, their friendship growing stronger with each passing day. Silvy, always the observant one, couldn't help but notice the subtle glances and lingering touches between them.

She teased them mercilessly, making passing comments and innuendos that left Loki flustered and Morbius smirking. Loki, ever the master of deflection, changed the subject whenever Silvy's teasing became too much to bear.

But Morbius, with his quiet intensity, watched Loki with interest, his eyes tracing every movement, every flicker of emotion. He saw the vulnerability hidden beneath Loki's mischievous facade, and it drew him in like a moth to a flame.

One evening, as the TVA quieted down, Loki found himself alone with Morbius in the dimly lit office. The air crackled with unspoken words, their gazes locked in a dance of shadows.

Morbius took a step closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "Loki, there's something between us, isn't there?"

Loki's heart raced, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He had always been drawn to chaos, to mischief, but Morbius offered something different. Stability. Warmth. Love.

He took a deep breath, his voice steady despite the storm raging within. "Yes, Morbius. There is."

In that moment, the world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them, entwined in a delicate dance of trust and vulnerability. Their lips met, igniting a fire that had long been smoldering.

Chapter 3: Embracing the Unknown

As Loki and Morbius embarked on their newfound relationship, the TVA continued its relentless pursuit of order. Silvy, ever the mischievous observer, couldn't help but revel in their happiness, her teasing taking a softer tone. Loki and Morbius were together. It stayed that way for a very long time.
