"Woah."
Iyon ang unang salita na lumabas mula sa akin nang makapasok ako sa kwarto ni Trevor sa mansyon ng mga Alverde. I wasn't expecting a clean room, and I wasn't expecting guitars hanging by the wall.
"Your room..." Inililibot ko ang aking paningin sa kaniyang kwarto. His walls were plain and gray. There weren't many decorations hanging on the wall besides some electric guitars and a few frames with black and white photographs of landscapes.
Hindi ko talaga inaasahan 'yon.
"What? Is there anything wrong?" he innocently asked.
"Hindi, nakakahiya lang gumalaw kasi baka magulo," pabirong sagot ko sa kaniya.
After picking me up in the mall, he decided to bring me here instead of our home. Sabi niya ay mamaya na niya ako iuuwi kapag sigurado na siyang nandoon na si Dad o kaya ay si Kuya Lance.
Sandali...
"Wala bang naka-assign sa'yo ngayong araw? Baka naabala kita," nahihiyang sabi ko sabay iwas ng tingin sa kaniya.
"Dennis and Jeric can handle whatever was assigned to me," seryosong sabi nito bago ito lumakad palapit sa akin. "Besides, you are far more important than the orders given by the organization," he continued, tucking a few strands of my hair behind my ear while staring intently at me.
Naramdaman ko ang pag-iinit ng aking pisngi kaya nag-iwas ako ng tingin at bahagyang tumagilid para hindi niya ako matitigan.
Trevor wrapped one of his arms around my waist while he used the other to grab my jaw so I would look at him.
"B-Bakit?" mahinang tanong ko. Pakiramdam ko ay mas malakas pa ang kabog ng puso ko kumpara sa boses ko.
"I'm just happy you are safe," he softly answered. He gently let go of my jaw before he leaned closer to kiss my lips.
It was a slow kiss. It felt like he was savoring and enjoying every second. When he stopped, he immediately kissed my forehead. I didn't know I was holding my breath until he carried me and brought me to his bed. Isang mahigpit na yakap ang kaniyang ibinigay sa akin nang mahiga ito sa aking tabi.
"I don't want to give you back to your brother yet," he quietly whispered in my ear.
Habang nasa kaniyang mga bisig ay nagtatalo ang aking puso at isipan. My heart is at peace knowing that he's here, tightly hugging me. It enjoyed the kiss we shared and knows that whatever happens, he will remain my pillar of stability.
However, my mind couldn't help but wonder about the words my brother exchanged with Trevor.
Trevor wasn't able to defend himself. Kung inilaban niya lang sana na hindi totoo ang sinabi ni Kuya, sana ay hindi siya pinag-iisipan ng kung ano ng isip ko.
