Hindi pa sumisikat ang araw pero nagwawala na ang aking cellphone dahil sa vibration nito. Pagsilip ko ay wala pang alas-singko ng umaga pero wala nang humpay sa pagtawag si Terrence.
Sa aking pagkakatanda ay hindi nito nagawang umuwi kagabi dahil may pinaasikaso sa kaniya ang aming ama. It was a property dispute with one of his entitled cousins and he sent Terrence to shut them down and claim what was his for him.
Agad akong naupo para sagutin ang kaniyang tawag.
"Hidden Heaven, ASAP. There was a notification for an urgent mission," agad na sabi nito at matapos iyon ay pinatay niya rin ang tawag kahit na hindi pa ako nakakasagot.
I stood up to grab a jacket and wear some decent pants before I grabbed my keys. Hindi ko naman kailangang maligo dahil ginawa ko na iyon kagabi.

"One of our sources informed us that Sapphire Ivy will receive weapon delivery from one of their suppliers nearby. I don't know if Sphere Zero or Sphere One will send us out to intercept that or to steal from them. Either way, it will still require effort since this is Sapphire Ivy we are talking about," simpleng sagot ni Dennis.
I couldn't comprehend how it felt so wrong. How is our source able to easily secure that kind of information? Why is it tagged as urgent? There was something that wasn't right here. I need more details from Cherub.
"How are you able to know that?" tanong ni Jeric. His tone was a mixture of teasing and doubt.
"Art told me just now," Dennis explained. Sabay na umusbong ang mapang-inis na ngisi sa amin ni Jeric dahil sa aming narinig.
"Bilog na utot ni gago," pang-aasar ni Jeric.
"Inggit ka lang," bira naman ng isa.
"Enough with that. Are you not wondering about this thing? Hindi ba kayo nakakaramdam ng kakaiba?" tanong ko sa kanila.
"It sounded off, but Artemis said that she was able to verify the source. It was from a legitimate one deployed to Sapphire Ivy," Dennis informed.
Marahan akong napatango habang nakatutok pa rin sa kalsada ang aking mga mata. Despite confirmed legitimacy, hindi ko maiwasang magduda. What if it's a trap? Or some sort of a bait?
"Let's be careful about this. I'll see you there," seryosong pagpapaalam ko bago ko pinatay ang tawag.
I stepped on the accelerator to increase my car's speed. Mabilis akong nakarating sa Hidden Heaven at agad akong dumiretso sa isang maliit na briefing room. I sent Dennis and Jeric the room code and waited for them.
