Chapter 25

Love appears when it knows we are ready.

The universe may know that, and love won't appear whenever we want it, or we need it, not when we search for it, and wait. It appears when it knows that we are ready.

Then one day I became a passenger in a plane. I thought I wasn't ready, but I guess fate knows me better than I do.

To be—May I?

"To be heard,
It must be delightful to have someone to listen,

To be seen,
No matter how much I tried to be hidden,

To be cared,
Upon all I feel is hatred,

To be loved,
Even all I can give is all that I have,

May I love you?
The way I know and do,

May I hear your words?
I always felt but not assured,"

"Tang-ina ano 'yan?"

Music tells the words that is unwritten,
Unsaid tales must be forgotten,

Meant for you but aren't the longer it seem,

As we stay near,
We barely see and even feel,
Are you even here?"

"Gaga ka belle!" Pinanlisikan niya 'ko ng mata.

"Ano ba'ng mali?"

"Are you in pain?" She softly asked. "They say how the art looks and feels tells so much about what the artist feels."

"I don't know," I lowered my head. "But I doubt it."

"Doubt saan? Sa capability mo?" She sighed.

"Si Kale," a smile appeared on her lips.

Side of my lips rose. "You are enough. . ." she caressed my back. "Your purity is a gift and that's what makes you unique."

Uminit ang puso ko. "Am I?"

"You don't need to seek validation from anyone, Belle," she shook. "You can easily give it to yourself if you want to."

"I don't seek validation from her Vera—"
