Maggy's POV

I am stiffened. Attorney Ares Sin Sandoval is like a lion in the forest. Napakagaling nitong magsalita.

"Mr. Demitri was working as a janitor on the bar. Ms. Villares saw him and talked to him. She insisted that Mr. Demitri should go with her to a motel she's staying at because she has something to give him— in which, my client couldn't refused because it's about his girlfriend—"

"That's not true! Ako ang niyaya nya papuntang motel!" sigaw ni Qristain. Ngumisi lang ang abogado.

"But, it was all a lie. We examined the CCTV footage at si Ms. Villares pa ang nauunang maglakad kesa sa kliyente ko. Salungat iyon sa statement nya na ang kliyente ko ang nagyaya na dalhin sya sa motel. Kung ganon ang sitwasyon, Mr. Demitri should be the one leading the way, not the other way around."

Marami pa itong sinabi. I'm processing every information.

"We saw your medical information. Yes, it was positive but then, there was something on it that got me curious..."

Nakita ko kung pano mamutla si Qristain. Tumingin ito kay Tita Andromeda.

"You should not forge papers because it is illegal. I have here the real papers about Ms. Villares medical information. In this papers, it was stated that she took dr*gs—"

"No, that's not true! Pinainom— pinainom ako ni Seige!" tumayo ito ngunit pilit itong pinapaupo ng prosecutor.

"Are you saying that my client let you drink it? But, you did not say anything about it in your statement, neither in the first two hearings. Are you lying on this court, Ms. Villares?" ngumisi ito at umiling iling

"To continue, we found out some interesting facts. The bruises of Ms. Villares body is self inflicted. We also found out that there's a sleeping dr*g on Mr. Demitri's body. Matapos na dalhin ni Ms. Villares ang kliyente ko sa motel, pinatulog nya ito gamit ang sleeping dr*gs, sinaktan ang sarili, kinuha ang kwintas ni Mr. Demitri at kinalmot ang pisngi nito. Please, take note that Ms. Villares is in state of being on an illegal drug while she's doing all of that."

I gasped. Natahimik ang buong korte. Nakita ko ang pagpatak ng luha sa nga mata ni Tita Andromeda.

"They forged the papers too? I really can't believe it." rinig kong bulong ni Ate Rina.

Nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na magsalita ang prosecutor ngunit mukhang di na naniniwala ang lahat dito. May mga ebidensyang ibinigay ang kampo nila Seige at mukhang alam na ng lahat kung ano ang magiging hatol.

"...Not guilty."

Napapikit ako ng mariin. Tumayo si Seige at tinapik sa balikat ang abogado nya. Nakita ko ang pagngisi nito.

And there I saw my bestfriend who's crying.

Wala sa sariling naglakad ako patungo kay Seige. I stopped infront of him.

"I'm sorry..." that's the only word that I could say.

Binigyan nya ako ng malamig na tingin.

"You're sorry because you believed your lying conniving b*tch bestfriend who accused me of r*ping her?" I bit my lips. He smirked.

"Seige—"

"You're disgusting. I told you, I will make you and the Villares pay for what you did to me. Nobody messes with me and just get away with it."

Umalis ito kasama ang abogado nya. Napahilamos ako ng mukha. Binigyan ako ni Ate Rina ng panyo.

"Stop crying, Maggy." sabi nito sa malungkot na tinig.

"I'm disappointed again. Si Ate at Qristain talaga, di na nagtanda!" I smiled weakly. Hinawakan ako ni Ate Rina at tinulungang maglakad dahil nanghihina na ako.

Kinabukasan ay sinundo ako ni Scotch sa bahay. Babalik na ako ng Manila.

"Heard what happened. You okay?"

Tumango lang ako. Parang ang bilis ng oras. Parang dati lang binabara bara ko lang si Seige tapos ngayon— wala na.

"Scotch." tawag ko dito.

"Hmm?"

"Do you know Jaxon Seige Demitri?" bigla itong pumreno.

"Don't tell me your boyfriend 'Seige' is that Jaxon Demitri?"

Tumango lang ako.

"Ex boyfriend—"

"I told you he was dangerous. That man... is a ruthless businessman known in the corporate world."
