"Earth to bishop" he waved a hand in front of her face while she sat in a state of thought about her current situation. "Are you ok?" He continued to ask as she stayed awfully still
"Huh...What'd you need Tony?" She smiled lightly trying to mask her emotions
"Are you ok, Bishop?" Tony asked while they began their walk to the elevator.
"I'm fine" the sound of her emotionless tone made him hit the emergency button, quickly halting the elevator nearly making bishop stumble forward.Tony's arm reached out quickly holding her waist tightly before looking at her with a not believing stare.
"Seriously I'm fine Tony" she spoke again trying to be more convincing. Before hit the emergency button again and leaving the office at once.
She hesitated for a moment outside his apartment door on whether to let him in or not. She knew he wouldn't judge her but she also knew telling someone anyone would make it all to real.
[knock knock]
She heard the heavy sound of his feet tapping against the hardwood floor, as she rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet.
"Hey Bish, what are you doing here" he saw the tears welling towards the surface before allowing her to enter his home. Before he closed the door behind them
"I......I.....I might be pregnant." Tears began further rushing down her cheeks before he pulled her shaking body against his tightly. He rubbed his hand up and down her back in a comforting fashion while she cried further into his shoulder
"Bishop"he spoke lightly before pulling back and placing his hands against her face. "I'm going to the supermarket down the street and buy you a pregnancy test. You're going to take it and we will take it from there"
She slightly nodded before huskily saying " I can't believe this is happening especially right now" Tony nodded in understanding before brushing a tear away from her cheek "I know bishop I know"
He left shortly after that, leaving bishop in silence with nothing but her own thoughts, scared of what will happen if she really is pregnant. (Desk duty, Jake, Divorce, single motherhood)
"Bishop, Bishop Hello" Tony waved his hand in front of her face again with a grocery bag in the other. He handed her the test once she was broke from her trance
"I'll be waiting out here, once you finish taking the test"
"Thanks Tony" she kissed his cheek lightly before heading to his bathroom
A few moment later Bishop was pacing around his living room, while waiting for the timer to go off. Waiting for the results that could change her life forever.
"Bishop" he pressed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her in her track. Before moving her to sit on the couch. She lightly laid her head on his shoulder, right as the timer went off.
"I can't look at the results" Bishop worriedly spoke before Tony placed a hand on her shoulder "I can look for you"
"Thanks Tony" he headed to the bathroom to get it before heading back to bishop
"So" she asked hesitatingly while looking at him
"It's negative" she jumped up before taking the test for herself, seeing the words not pregnant on the little screen. She sighed in relief while a hint of sadness also laced her face
"I'm happy for you bishop"
"Thanks"
"I'm also sorry"
"Thanks" she smiled slightly before he hugged her again. As more tears trickled down her cheeks again.
