It had been a few days since they had spotted the woman in the woods, and now they were back on track with helping Elsa find her sister. Juliet, David, Mary Margaret, Elsa, and Emma were all in the apartment trying to figure out where to look. Mary Margaret placed a couple of books on the table while holding her son.
"Census records from the first and second curses. If Anna's ever in Storybrooke, we'll find some trace of her here." Juliet folded her arms. That was an impressive list of names.
"Your curses are very thorough." Elsa exclaimed, opening the top book.
"That's just 'A' through 'E'." Mary Margaret responded.
"Here are the rest of them." David announced, carrying a couple of more books, placing them on the table. On top of the books was a piece of paper and a pen, no doubt for information.
"Okay. I want honest opinions." Emma's voice came from upstairs. "What do we think?" Everyone turned their heads to see Emma walking down the stairs in a light pink dress. Her hair was up in a nice ponytail.
"Wow." Mary Margaret beamed.
"What your mother said." David added. Juliet nodded at the dress. It did look very good on Emma.
"Is that just the corset? Where's the rest of it?" Elsa asked, which earned a chuckle from Juliet. She understood Elsa's confusion. She had to wear plenty of corsets in Oz.
"This is the rest of it." Emma replied, confused. Mary Margaret placed Baby Neal in his crib so she could grab her camera.
"Someone's sister is going on a very big date tonight." That seemed to give Emma some pause in her excitement.
"Let's not oversell." She added, to which Mary Margaret responded by taking a picture of her. "Wow, I really need to get my own place." Emma chuckled, walking over to the table.
"Cut your mother some slack. It's not like we got to send you to a ball." David joked, smiling.
"Yeah. You have a mom that is excited for you. God knows I want that." Juliet added, rifling through the books.
"You sure you guys don't want help? Maybe I can get Hook to stay in for the night." Emma asked. She was clearly a bit nervous about her date.
"My sister put her wedding on hold because of me." Elsa replied, shaking her head a little. "I don't want anyone else living their lives on my account." Emma moved her head like she was going to reply, but then there was a knock at the door.
"Here we go." Mary Margaret sang as Emma walked over to open the door. David put the paper down and followed behind her, dad mode on. On the other side was Hook, standing there with one arm behind his back.
"You look stunning, Swan." Hook commented with an awed look on his face.
"You look..." Emma started, trying to find the right words to say.
"I know." Hook chuckled. "Now that I'm settling into this world, I finally thought it was time to dress the part." He took a few steps into the apartment, holding out a rose for her with his...
"Is that his hand?" Juliet whispered to Mary Margaret, who's eyes widened.
"Wow, you really went all out." Emma exclaimed, not yet registering the extra hand.
"Uh, Emma?" Mary Margaret tried to get her daughter's attention. The blonde looked down at the hand still holding on to the rose, and looked back up at Hook.
"Is that...?"
"Mine?" Hook finished her question. "Yeah. The Dark One kindly restored what he once took from me. It seems he has indeed changed his ways." Juliet folded her arms, skeptical. Gold doesn't just do things out of the kindness of his heart. This had to be related to their conversation a few days ago. Emma didn't seem as skeptical.
