Juliet sat in the Sheriff's station as Emma and Elsa went through the materials Belle found. She figured it wouldn't hurt to have someone else with magic in the room too. They had been there all night, going through book after book. Emma opened up one of the books to a certain page and placed it on the desk in front of Elsa.
"Belle found something in here. A spell. It may be able to work against the Snow Queen." Elsa glanced at the book for a second before looking up at Emma.
"You don't mean, kill her?" She asked. Emma shook her head.
"No. No one's killing anyone. It'll just neutralize her powers. Maybe." Elsa looked back down at the book.
"Can you read this?" She asked. Emma chuckled.
"Elvish? No, I didn't even see Lord of the Rings." Juliet rolled her eyes jokingly. Elsa looked up at the savior, confused. "Never mind. Belle translated it." She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and unfolded it. "It tells us how to enact the spell." She handed the paper to Elsa, who started to read it.
"With both hands, hold the candle and then use your magic to light it. And then when you blow on it..."
"Then bam!" Emma chimed in. "She's right back to selling ice cream. My guess is business will be down." Juliet nodded in agreement.
"Maybe without her powers, we can talk to her. We can find Anna. We can get some real answers." Elsa sounded hopeful. Juliet tilted her head. She was not as optimistic about the Snow Queen being reasonable.
"Does your sister have magic?" Emma asked. Elsa folded the paper up.
"No. I think that's why the Snow Queen's so interested in you." She stood up, grabbing the candle.
"Yeah." Emma murmured in agreement.
"Does anyone in your family have magic?" Elsa asked. Emma shook her head.
"Not unless you count step-family." Juliet added. Elsa sighed.
"It's hard when they look at you differently, isn't it?" Emma shrugged.
"They don't." Elsa smiled, but it looked more sad.
"You're lucky." After a breath, she handed Emma the candle. "Okay. Should we try this?" Emma nodded, holding the candle with both hands. Elsa pushed her cape back. Emma placed one hand on the bottom of the candle and lit it. She then took a breath and blew the flames toward Elsa. The flame reached out toward the other blonde before fizzing out. Elsa sighed. "I'm sorry. Should we try again?" Emma placed the candle back on the table.
"Later. I have to meet Mary Margaret. I'm supposed to babysit tonight.
"Life goes on." Elsa said, trying to stay optimistic. Emma sighed.
"We'll find her."
"It's okay. Go. I'll be here." Elsa said as Emma was leaving. Juliet stayed to help Elsa and keep her company.
After a while, David came in saying he found out where the Snow Queen was. She was in the clock tower. Juliet held down the fort as they went to track her down. She didn't think she was needed, since the Snow Queen was not coming after her. Plus, someone needed to make sure the place wasn't broken into, and Juliet had magic.
When Emma and Elsa returned with the Snow Queen, they took her into an interrogation room. Now that they were back, Juliet could go help David and Hook take apart the mirror. Emma had the whole situation handled, so she headed for the clock tower.
When she got there, David and Hook were simply staring at the mirror. Elsa was not too far behind Juliet. Apparently, the Snow Queen got under her skin.
