Meeting your Nan and grandad

"but your grandad doesn't like tattoos so there is no way I can see this going well" Harry panicked as he paced frantically through the bedroom

"babe just calm down" you chuckled

"how am I meant to calm down when one of the most important people in your life who I want or should I say I need him to like me more than anyone doesn't like tattoos and then I walk in looking like a fucking GCSE sketch book" he ran his hands through his hair, tugging at the roots "I know I will just wear a roll neck jumper" he clicked his fingers and headed to the wardrobe

"so you're gonna wear a roll neck jumper in summer yeah?" you questioned trying your best to hold your laughter in

"yeah it will look normal don't worry love" he began to pull jumpers from the back of the wardrobe

"okay okay so are you going to wear gloves and socks tucked into your trousers?" you approached his hunched over figure buried in the wardrobe

"why would I do that?" he chuckled "that would be stupid" he added

"So what about the tattoos on your hands and ankles then?" You raised your eyes at the ink stained ankles

"Fuck sake I give up I'm just going to go in a body suit" he huffed and sat on the bed next to you as you laughed

"I just want to make a good impression stop laughing at me" he pouted his bottom lip as he rested his head on your shoulder

"I know baby and don't let something as small as tattoos stop you from thinking you won't" the action of your hands slowly running through his hair caused his body to move closer to yours

"So help me decide what to wear" he whined

"What about your black and white shirt from Grimmys collection?" You strolled over to the wardrobe and picked the garment out

"With your black jeans and black boots?" You turned to see him making his way over to you

"What socks shall I wear?" He questioned while taking the outside from you

You chuckled "I'm sure you can make that decision yourself Harry"

"Fine" he huffed "black ones it is"

*a few hours later*

"So how many tattoos have you got Harry?" Your granddad question and you felt Harry tense beside you, he had gone most of the evening avoiding any mention of tattoos.

"Um quite a few" he shyly admitted as he grasped your hand in your lap

"How many is a few" your Nan chuckled 

You ran your thumb slowly over the back of Harrys hand to reassure him "I'm not sure" he shook his head

"What do you think about Y/N getting a tattoo?" Your grandad questioned, causing your attention to switch fully to Harry

"Hell no" he snapped "her skin is way too perfect for it to be ruined with ink" he smiled at your grandads relived reaction

"So I can't get a tattoo?" You laughed

"Nope" your grandad and Harry chorused

"Rude" you muttered

"I'm sorry darling but he has a point" you grandad assured

"Yeah see listen to your grandad babe" Harry smirked and you squeezed his hand in response with a smile full of menace

"Nan they're saying I can't get a tattoo!" You yelled to your nan who was currently in the front room

"I agree with Harry sweetie" she entered the room and smiled towards Harry

"What is this? Gang up on Y/N night or something" your outburst gaining a chuckle from the people seated round the table

"Sorry darling you're just too perfect" Harry smiled and placed a gentle kiss to your nose

"We like him Y/N" your grandad leaned forward and directed his attention to you and Harry

"Yeah you've got a winner there darling" your nan added

"Believe me I think I'm the one who's got a winner with your granddaughter" you felt Harrys attention turn to you as a smile beamed onto his face

You leaned your head onto Harrys shoulder as he rested his hand on your leg

"How did I get so lucky"
