Me: So, a close friend of mine told me about what's happening in Paris........and it's really making me angry and upset.

Tank: *sighs deeply and puts head down* Those people didn't deserve to die.

Everyone: *sighs* Agreed.

Me: Over 100 people died yesterday and a lot of peope were injured.....this is really hard for those living in Paris, especially to the victims' families. Yesterday, people lost loved ones. A woman probably lost a husband. A man probably lost a wife. Children may be wondering where their mother or father are. Maybe even a pet is wondering why their master isn't home. People just died yesterday! For those who lost a loved one, it's really tragic to hear this and is really making my heart hurt. I don't like seeing so much violence or murder happening a lot in our world....it just makes me sick that there are people out there who are sick and twisted in their minds to cause this and not feel anything for the ones that died. Me and this close friend were talking about this (because he was supposed to be in Paris this week, but something happened and he couldn't go). He said that this feels like 9/11 all over again. Then I texted him 'Whatever happened to peace?' Then he texted back 'We live in a wild world'. Yes, it's difficult to have to live in a world where people are aiming guns at each other due to religion, land, money, power, etc., but we just have to be strong in times like thi-

Edit: I put that hyphen to stop writing. I needed a minute to clean up my tears.

~After a minute or two....~

Me: Okay. We need to be strong in times like this. I'm not saying we should forget yesterday, because there are lots of events that we haven't forgotten, like 9/11. I'm saying we need to be strong and stick together as nations and try to support one another. It makes me sick to know that one day, my beloved niece and all the other babies and young kids in the world, have to grow up in a world, where there is no such thing as peace, when people out there are literally making the world a battle zone. It's like Pandora's box. All the evils were released and plagued the world......but, there was one thing left in the box......Hope. Call me naïve and stubborn, but I believe there can be hope for all of this to end. I simply hope and pray that one day, our world may no longer have to deal with the hardships of terrorism or any matter that is simply wrong. I hope that one day, the people who are doing this, will see how much this affects so many people and just simply stop all the madness that they are causing. I am simply hoping. Which my chance of that can be a million to one. But there's still a chance.
