i came back to the hospital three days later.

i was sanitizing my hands, when i heard someone clear their voice behind me.

"hey."

i didn't turn around cause i already knew who it was.

"i thought i told you to stay away from me."

"listen blue, i'm sorry, i kind of realized that what i did was fucked up."

"whatever."

"hey, i never apologize to people, so this is kind of big."

"congratulations."

he sighed before spinning me around to face him.

"look okay, i've never had someone cry over my wellbeing before, so i'm genuinely sorry."

i looked him dead in the eyes before heaving a sigh "okay, i accept your apology."

he smiled a toothy grin and was about to leave but my voice stopped him.

"help me be like you."

i couldn't stop the words from coming out my mouth, even if i tried.
