we were on a roof.

a hospital roof to be exact.

a roof that was now decorated, had a candle lit table and flowers in the middle.

"i figured i'd take you back to the first place we met."

i went to him and hugged him, placing a soft kiss on his cheek.

"this is wonderful."

he leaned over and kissed me on the lips, kissing me as if he's been wanting to do that for a while.

we broke apart, us both beaming.

"i can get used to that." he said.

he walked me to my seat and pulled it out for me before taking his.

he told me to lift up my cover to reveal our dinner.

there on my plate was pasta, potatoes, and a piece of steak.

"this is all nancy, she was insisting."

"it looks delicious."

"yeah it really does." but he wasn't look at the food, he was looking at me.

"dallas!" i blushed.

"this flirting thing is pretty easy, your blushing already."

i spotted a pack of cigarettes on the table and sighed.

"you should really quite you know?"

he followed my gaze and saw the pack "i haven't in a while, i got this new lung of mine, so i think i'm gonna quite for good."

"good."

we ate and laughed the rest of the night, enjoying each other's presence.

music started playing and i looked at him.

"can i have this dance?" he asked.

"dallas bloom dances?"

"no. but i saw this shit in a nicholas sparks movie and thought i'd be romantic."

i laughed as he took my hand.

we were on the dance floor and a thought struck my mind making me giggle.

"what's so funny?"

"i just realized both the men in my life right now, have approximately one lung."

this made him laugh and he whispered sweetly in my ear.

"blue.. your an idiot."

and today at 11:11pm i recalled the first words i said to him on the 11th month of the 11th day of the 11th hour.

"i'm not an idiot."

then he smiled and i smiled.

{the end}
