we pulled apart and i sat there unable to speak.

we stared each other in the eyes. honey to chestnut.

thoughts contaminated my mind.

he kissed me.

dallas kissed me.

and i liked it.

i can't believe i liked it.

"dallas."

i fidgeted awkwardly not knowing what else to say.

"i'm sorry."

he paused. nervous.

"i can't believe i did. i guess you can say i've wanted to do that for awhile."

i looked at him in utter shock.

"you have?"

he laughed awkwardly, putting a hand on his neck.

"yeah. i kind of... like.. you."

"you do? since when?"

i was asking questions left and right. dallas liked me. a human guy actually liked me.

"blue, are you okay?"

"you like me?

"unfortunately. as much as i try to shake it away, i fail. so yes i like you indigo stevens."

*mumble*

"blue, i just confessed i liked you and your mumbling."

"i said damn it."

"why?"

"because i may like you too."

he grinned from ear to ear and took this opportunity to kiss my lips again, holding on to my cheeks, before pulling away.

"okay then, i know i definitely like." i said, flushed, my cheeks blushing.

"i think the universe is very happy with me because i've been getting good news all day."

"what's the other good news?"

"blue, i'm.. i'm getting a new lung."
