Juneau Roux^^^

"No. Another universe may have different laws. We would die." Daniel's face was grave.

"But I don't want to go through this again..."Juneau shook fearfully. Her tigers eyed eyes were large but not as bright as usual.

8:43 am

Juneau's phone rang.

"Hello? April! Yes, I'm not hurt."

Juneau looked to Daniel and then the clock as April spoke to her.

She hung up.

"I have to go home."

"How far?"

"At least five minutes..."

"You can't travel by foot, then," Daniel mumbled worriedly.

He looked to her seriously.

Juneau jumped with surprise.

But her thoughts within this event shall remained locked...

"Can you trust me?" Daniel asked softly.

It was the same voice she'd heard when she first met him.

The voice that rumbled seas and mountains.

The voice that was much deeper than Pluto from Earth.

"Huh?" Juneau couldn't seem to think straight.

"Think of home. Of the surrounding trees and houses... of the front porch..."

"Why?" But as Juneau spoke, she obeyed.

She thought of the Japanese maple tree in her front yard and of the bonsai trees that their gardener trimmed. She thought of their neighbor's sky blue house and white garage door and of her other next door neighbor's beautiful garden.

They were beginning to grow Chrysanthemums.

Suddenly, Daniel's eyes seemed to grow brighter...

As though he could see into her...

He suddenly placed a hand on her shoulder.

Juneau freaked.

It starts with a shoulder! HELP!

But there was no need.

Suddenly, it felt as though she were riding a high speed corkscrew roller coaster. Her stomach flipped.

"Da-an...ni-el," she tried to say.

A bright blue light surrounded her 360°. And it could've been eighteen degrees Celcius.

She looked to her side.

And beside her she saw a very beautiful creature. His eyes were brown, yet blue, and shined like the Aurora Borealis. His eyelashes held small bits of... frost? They seemed to change, but subtly. His skin was of pale complexion and looked too soft to touch, too fine to disrupt.

The creature was human.

But... somehow, just somehow, he seemed inhumanly beautiful.

"Daniel..." Juneau whispered, then coming to a realization. She stretched out her hand to see if he were really real.

But the entire scene disappeared.

...

Because she was already home.

"...Daniel?"

The beautiful creature had already gone.

Hi~~~~~~~~~~

Unfun fact: I killed my first bonsai tree by overwatering it.

Oh, and I over trimmed it, too.

Sorry, Okaachan!

Ahehehe...
