We were in the car on the way back to Brighton; Zoe driving, Alfie in the passenger seat and me in the back.
"We have to collect Nala before we properly get home," Alfie says as we drive onto the motorway.
"Ok," i lean back in my seat and putting my headphones in, I listen to 5SOS until my phone goes off: Seth ✨
"Seth?"
"Hayley! How are you?"
"I'm great! How are you?"
"Great! Question..."
"Yeah?"
"When do you come home?"
"Today! We're about two hours away... how come??"
"Well... I wondered if you wanted to come to this party with me and some mates?"
"Where? And when? And time?"
"Well it's his birthday tomorrow so we were going to go bowling, then go back to his place for drinks and pizza. I'll pick you up at like 5 and we will be back about 9-10 ish?"
I thought a second. Would Zoe and Alfie let me go out then?
"Yeah! Sure!"
"Oh and Hayley?"
"Yeah?"
"Fancy going to Starbucks when you arrive back in Brighton? As our... first date?"
"Sure!"
"Babe I gotta go and help my mom so call me when you get to Brighton yeah?"
"Sure. Bye!"
